A little girl sometimes shares with her she gives him half her cookie, lets him play with her toys, and even allows him to ride her bike. But when her friends come over, she doesn't always want him around. What happens then ? A delightfully told and illustrated little tale that will evoke giggles even as it makes a valuable point about good behavior.
I liked the intent of this book. I thought that it taught a great lesson regarding sharing. I especially liked the list of words that were highlighted from the story. I could have done without the use of the word, "brat." It was not needed and definitely not a word I would introduce to a young mind. The graphics were cute and appropriate.
Sometimes I share is a okay story in teaching children to share "sometimes". However, in the story it says brat and I would not want to use that name so loosely with children as young as the book is geared to.
This is a very easy read for young children to learn about sharing. I would most likely read this book when children are having a hard time sharing at the beginning of the year.
