There are always twos sides to a coin. This is the story of the other side of the coin, a side we don't understand or don't want to. It is a side we hate, accuse and discard from society.
Akansha fell in love with Kairav Raichand, the one person forbidden to her by destiny. But as they say, love is blind, and once you fall for someone, the dynamics change, and the line between right and wrong blurs.
Kairav Raichand had everything in his life, yet he desired her. Rosy cheeks, unruly hair with a fiery dressing sense, Akansha swept him off his feet with her charm. He knew he shouldn't fall for her, knew she wasn't meant for him, but that didn't stop him from being with her.
Two people went against the rules, fell in love, breaking the laws and the traditions created by the society.
Where will it lead them?
Will their love succeed, or will it succumb under the pressure of doing the honorable thing?

Warning:- This story speaks about a sensitive subject of an extra-marital affair. If you are a reader with certain triggers or sensitivities, please take heed of the warning.

Payal Dedhia’s first book of the series named “Unconventional Love”, is kind of a mixed bag.

This is an episode in the story of two people in a long-time extramarital affair. When I say an episode, I actually mean it. We are told that the relationship had going on for around 10 years, while the events of this book take place over a span of 10 days or less, there is a lot to be wanted (or not wanted).

Kairav Raichand is a business tycoon. A ruthless businessman with a family and with a dominating and controlling personality - both in his professional and much less explored personal life. Akanksha is an intelligent woman who has reached great heights of success but is full of self-doubt, submission and guilt when it comes to her ten years long affair with Kairav, his former boss and mentor.

Their love story is presented to us as being comprised of some hidden weekend getaways with Akanksha having almost no control over her situation or over the relationship.

When an unexpected complication occurs, Akanksha decides she has had enough and takes matters into her own hand. The episode ends with new possibilities of the future.

The most disappointing thing I felt while reading it on my Kindle was that the story ended at 78% (Page 86 of this 121-page book). The rest, aside for Author’s bio and a few regular inclusions in any book, is filled with blurbs of all the books by this author…which is a lot (over a dozen since 2020)!

I mean, kudos to the author for being so active, but do I really need to read blurbs of all her previous books when I have one of her books in my hand…I think not - and I did not. So, when Kindle was telling me I had 38 minutes left to read in this book, I had already finished with The Other One.

Also, if you are a grammar Nazi, stay away from this book.

The character of Akanksha is not of a strong woman – and that is the intention of the book. Despite being at the pinnacle of her professional journey, she is a mess at a personal level. She may incite pity and sympathy more than compassion and understanding, at least as far as the events strictly in this book are concerned. That being said, her character was well explored.

The premise is nice and I liked the writing style for the most part. As the author has promised more books in this series, I think this story would be served better with prequels, rather than sequels.

You may find the a sex scene disturbing because of the use of force, but it was not too graphic and extremely short.

It is a short, okay read which could have been much, much better with some professional editing.

Book: The other one (Unconventional love book 1)
Genre: love/beliefs

About the book;
This story speaks about a touchy challenge of a further-marital affair. Love is blind, and once you fall for a person, the dynamics alternate, and the line between right and wrong blurs.
Two people went towards the rules, fell in love, breaking the legal guidelines and the traditions created by society. Kairav Raichand is a business tycoon in person and was the youngest top 5 businessman in the country. Akansha Puri has Rosy cheeks, unruly, curly hair with a fiery dressing feel. Akansha desperately fell in love with kairav. She changed into so obsessed with his love that she will be able to do whatever for him even sacrifice herself; Kairav raichand had the whole lot in his life, yet he preferred Akansha's lust! On the other hand, Akanksha's excellent friend mehar used to help akansha in her ups and downs no matter what; Mehar become the one that fetched her from being knocked down, she use to let her know that she should not do that to Kairav. It is unfair. But Akansha becomes out of control, she can not prevent the feelings she had for Kairav. As kairav turned out to be married to a woman named "Priya" and had two kids. What had came about later? What could oversee them? Will kairav's family accept the reality at the back of Kairav and Akanksha's affair?

#suggestive #goodread

Personal perception: A confection examine. smooth-going excursion. Had some mysteries, which made me more exciting, however, later it changed into all approximately the fortunately ever after, and cheer's to the author for making such an extraordinary portrayal. fictional readers can deliver it across!

Book - THE OTHER ONE
Author - Payal Dedhia
Genre - Fiction
Format - Kindle

My rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

🔺REVIEW :

" To love without condition, to talk without intention, to give without reason, to care without expectation; That's the spirit of true love. "

The Other One ; book 1 of the series unconventional love , by author Payal Dedhia talks about the most sensitive topic - extra marital affair . The cover of the book itself speaks alot about the story and i really wanted to read this piece and looking forward to next ones of the series.

Akansha , a young bright girl working with the Raichand group , her first year of work and her life was made hell by the boss - Kairav Raichand, who saw her potential despite all the troubles he laid down for her and he trained her superwell. But things turn bitter when they get closer to each other and 10 years of togetherness despite knowing about his marriage and his kids , Akansha has a few more expectations. What will the fate of this extra marital affair be ? Will Akansha ever get over the fact that will always be the other one ? What will happen if Kairav's wife gets to know ?

This book is a short read but with illustrates a deeper and sensitive topic . Written in an extreme easy to understand language and in a flow , this book is really a great for everyone. I highly recommend this one for all .

Book: The Other One (Unconventional Love Book 1)
Author: Payal Dedhia
Formate: Kindle Ebook version
Pages: 96
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

It's good to be submissive but there is a limit to everything. You can not be so weak that the other person is ruling your life most uncertainly.

Akansha is an independent girl who has achieved the heights of professional life but when it comes to her personal life she is guilty of her 10 years long affair with a married man with two children.

Kairav Raichand is a business tycoon, a ruthless, arrogant, and dominating personality, and controlling others' life is what he does. He is married with two children and in an extra marital affair with Akansha.

The story talks about their present scenarios with little flashbacks of their past. Akansha loves Kairav so much that she followed every single order from him no matter how rude or insulting it is. It looks like they are together now only for pleasure and there are no strings attached.

The part which I felt the most is when finally Akansha decides to stand up for herself against all wrong and shows her strong side. And the ruthless Kairav is defeated for time being.

I like the way the authors' imagination has put the worst scenarios of an extra marital relationship to the T. The story is strong but picks it up only if you are open to reading ruthless situations.

This book deals with a sensitive topic of extra Marital affairs. What if two people just go against the years of traditions and rules and fall in love with each other? - This explains the main plot of the story.

One can feel a hell of emotions from the very first chapter of the book. The four main characters of this story are Kairav, Priya, Akansha and Ayush. Though Kairav is married to Priya for 7 years and has 2 kids, Akansha falls in love with him. Kairav could not stop himself from falling for her too. What happens next forms the rest of the story!

Reading everything from Akansha's perspective lets the readers feel deep from their hearts. The story does not have a very happy conclusion though it would be the most appropriate thing to do. Author has picked up one most sensitive topic and handled the same in a very sensible manner. Kudos to the author! I'm happy that Akansha has finally got some strength to accept reality and move on with her life !

The narration was beautiful. The language used is very simple and easily understandable. Please consider the trigger warning (extra marital affair) before reading the story ! Other than this it would be an unique read !

Love is blind and love can be foolish, our heart doesn't always love the right people at the right time. Sometimes we hurt the ones who love us the most and sometimes we love the ones that don't deserve our love at all.. My quick thoughts about this amazing novel in simple one line words is .. Love.. Fall.. Break . And then gathering oneself and standing up high with dignity.

It's a story of how heart starts ruling your mind, crashing away your conscience. It's a tale of Akansha who is head over heels for Kairav Raichand an entrepreneur. But this tale is slight different. Kairav has his own life, responsibility and dignity in society. He is portrayed as a strong rigid man, with a very strong personality. All of Akansha's well wishers are against this relationship.

But why?

I fell in love the way the novel ended... The true character of Akansha, with the beaming of brightness, courage to break the false hopes and reviving the lost confidence can be experienced. The story is well narrated and author has always kept the notes high.
It's preoccupying till the end.

Book Name : The Other One
Unconventional Love
Written by Payal Dedhia
It is a Fiction thriller. It's different emotions and it's amazing. The story revolves around the emotions of the four characters in their lives.

Kairav, Priya, Akansha and Ayush are the four characters. Kairav is married and has two children. Priya is his wife. It has been seven years since their happy life began.

Akansha falls in love with this Kairav. She loved him even though she knew he was wrong in the eyes of society and conscience. He does not deny her love either. But Kairav forgot his family life and was not ready for a relationship. What happens at the end of this intriguing reading is very interesting and eventful. Akansha makes a serious decision. She will realize the reality and forget everything and find a new life. This is a topic that can be linked to real life. The genius of the author in presenting such a subject is clear. Well written and nice cover design. Simple language for easy way to read. I recommended this book.

From the chapter one, this book is creating a storm. I felt agitated, angry, in-love and happy all at the same time. There is no character saving done by the author. You see as it is. Very real, and the ending made me close my kindle app. What happened suddenly but it happened. Priya came and set everything right but the issue was we were reading the book from Akansha's point of view.
We felt her pain, anguish, loss. "I have only loved you. I never realized I was destroying something in the way." These lines stuck with me.
A very sensitive topic but the author has done justice. Kairav seemed like an amazing broody agnostic character but we didn't got a lot of him. Whatever it was, their love was true love. Even I can feel it.
Hope Akansha gets her new beginnings. Ayush doesn't seem appropriate for her but maybe that is what she needs.
Overall, an intense read that leaves you contemplating.

Book:- The Other One
Author:- Payal Dedhia
Rating:- 5/5

The book "The Other One" is a fictional read which is both interesting and captivating. You must have heard that every story has two aspects. The author here had portrayed the other unknown side of the story.

The storyline is set around the protagonist Akansha who falls for Kairav Raichand. But, destiny is all powerful and it had planned something different for her. How easy is it to forget someone you love to the fullest? Well, the feeling love is hard to forget.

Kairav Raichand also likes Akansha. Her charm is all he aspires for now! What will be the outcome of this mad love? Know it all yourselves by just diving deep into the storyline.

Will society accept their love? That's the question. Will their love be successful? Extra
marital affair is the main theme of the book. Also the narration is simpl and interesting.

Thank You.
Happy Reading 📚

An intense read. This book is different from what the author has written until now. Also the ending... it made me cry. I feel for Akansha. She maybe wrong but the way Payal Dedhia showed her, you feel for the poor girl.
A very sensitive topic but I loved the way it is written. Loved the book. Wish there was more of Kairav and Akansha, I could read more about their love. The few moments that author has shown are beautiful. They would have made an amazing pair.
I hope there is a follow up story to this. This looked like an unfinished book as if I wanted to read more, some miracle. My heart goes out for Akansha and for what she lost but I am also with Priya. But kudos to the author for the ending of the story. Extra marital affair is a sensitive subject but author has done justice to it.
This book is not for all. Only if you are okay with the subject, go and read it. It's a lovely story.

I loved the book. I really did but I couldn't take the ending. Akansha was a good person and she didn't deserve Kairav. He was two timing and always making her feel guilty. I hated that she had to beg him for everything.
This book left me feel vulnerable, love sometimes can be a reason of demise. I just hope Akansha never goes back to him. I hope there is another book that shows how Akansha's life changes for better and how Kairav suffers.
Kudos to the author for testing this genre. Infidelity is a sensitive topic and author has done complete justice to it. I just disliked the main characters. But I can understand why we sometimes feel someone is the answer of our every problem. In today's era, we don't need Kairav Raichand to succeed.
Overall, a sensitive intense read that left me with too many questions.

The Other One (Unconventional Love Book 1) by Payal Dedhia is a sensitive read..

In this book, the author had talked about the vastly susceptible issue that is extra marital relationship..

The four primary identities of this tale are Kairav, Priya, Akansha and Ayush.. Though Kairav is tied the knot to Priya for past seven years and gives birth to two children, Akansha falls in affection with him..
On the additional arrow, Kairav could also not avoid himself from plummeting for her too..

The conspiracy of the anecdote is fascinating and attractive..
The terminology utilized in the volume is luminous, so that everyone can browse...

In this book, examining everything from Akansha's perspective allows the anthologies to realize deep from their souls..

This edition exists quick look over but it exemplifies a wider and emotional problem..

Must read..

This short story speaks a lot about human emotions. And the way it is written, you feel for everyone. Kairav and Akansha's feelings for each other, their love, Akansha's insecurities, I felt for the poor girl. And Priya reacted the only way she could. All the characters are justified and author tried to show everyone exactly as they were. I loathed Kairav in the first chapter but later he grew on me.
The ending is too daring but I am glad the author made Akansha realise how wrong she was. Overall, I loved reading this intense sensetive story. It left me sad but I loved the way it is portrayed. ❤️💕

New concept. It is a short read but has a lot to say. Chemistry between Kairav and Akansha is hot and the story is intriguing.
Ending is harsh but it has to be. Story is not conventional so ending cannot be a HEA.
Epilogue stole my heart when Kairav and Akansha meet for one last time. I literally wept with Akansha and their loss was clear. They only loved but sometimes love can also be wrong.
Good read. Read if you like unconventional stories that raises doubts in your head.

This book is the one I can relate to a serial I am watching currently. It breaks my heart to see women or men like this. While putting everything at stake. Yes, we are no one to judge them but somewhere we feel this within us that both of them the man and the woman are wrong for what they are doing. This story is just about that and it'll make you question a lot of things
