This book made me more thankful for my Christmas, as many of the vignettes are by people far from home and in poor circumstances on Christmas.

Good compendium of Christmas-related excerpts from a variety of books, spanning a broad range of times and places.
I did not like the inconsistent length of the excerpts, some being just a few sentences and others running up to several pages. I am sure the editor had her reasons for the chosen length, but I found it to be distracting.
