And, with every penny made being sent to support our troops you’re helping our heroes, one page at a time.

The Stars Will Shine Again is the perfect Christmas gift for the bookworms in your life.
A Note from Emma Mitchell:
As the blurb tells us, The Stars Will Shine Again is a multi-genre collection of short stories compiled to raise money for our armed forces and every penny made from the sales of both the digital and paperback copies will be donated to the charity Help for Heroes. Covid has made fundraising a difficult job for everyone, so it’s an honour to able to do something like this and I’m thankful to everyone involved. With huge thanks going once again to Amanda Horan for her support and fabulous cover design. You can find her at Let’s Get Booked.
I’ve picked the best of the submissions to bring you a thrilling book which is perfect for dipping into at lunchtime or snuggling up with on a cold winter’s night. I have been completely blown away by the support from the writing and blogging community, especially the authors who submitted stories and bloggers who have been so generous with their time to help advertise and spread the word.
There isn’t a person in the country who hasn’t benefited from the sacrifices our troops, past and present, have made for us and they all deserve our thanks.
It has been an honour working on these stories, and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have
This is a great book to dip in and out of with some really great short stories in. Many thanks to Emma-Louise Smith, one of the fabulous authors who has a story published in this book, for this copy in exchange of an honest review.
We now have a second anthology, The Stars Will Shine Again, which is a further collection of short stories compiled by Emma Mitchell. As with the first anthology, When Stars Will Shine, every penny made from the sales of both the digital and paperback copies will be donated to the charity Help for Heroes.
This book is a delightful collection of short stories. I do enjoy an anthology which I can pick up when I need a few minutes of reading time and don't want to get caught up in the 'one more page' loop. Short stories like these are special as they cover so many topics and as multi-genre you don't know what you are going to get on the next page. These stories were also a welcome read on nights were I fall into bed too tired to pick up my book but able to read a short story before switching off my light! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys short stories that can take you off, here there and everywhere, to other worlds with each new beginning.
The Stars Will Shine Again is an excellent collection of short stories written by extremely talented authors. Each story is unique. Some are very emotional. Some are full of surprises. All are very cleverly written. I was especially impressed by those written by my book blogger friends. What an amazing achievement! This book would be perfect for reading in one sitting or for dipping in and out of, maybe treating yourself to one story each day. I read three or four stories each night and loved them all. I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this book, there is something for everyone and the best part is that all profits go to Help for Heroes. As a Veterans wife this is a charity very close to my heart. I am also thrilled to have discovered some new-to-me authors. Their other books are going straight on my TBR list! This book would make the perfect gift to yourself or for any booklover in your life, at any time of the year. I have no doubt I will be purchasing physical copies to send as gifts. Well done to all who contributed their talents to this wonderful collection and especially to Emma Mitchell for bringing it all together. You should all be so proud.
Many thanks to Emma Mitchell for my digital review copy. I did also purchase a kindle copy.
Another fantastic collection of stories, some funny, some sad, some that are emotional, that give you goosebumps. This is such an amazing collection of stories and authors, that must have taken some time to put together, and makes a lot of money for the most wonderful charity. For that reason alone it should be on everyones book shelves.
