Ryan McAlister might be the hottest contradiction alive. Billionaire CEO. Mysterious like Gatsby. Perfectly damaged. Stubborn soul. Brilliant and beautiful, scarred and stoic. Cold and demanding in public. Kind...when he thinks no one's looking.
It was supposed to be a one-night stand. Now I’m living in his castle, expecting his child. We’re from completely different worlds. Total opposites. So wrong it hurts. He’s emotionally unavailable. And I am…feeling. Feeling things I shouldn’t feel for him.
We're too close. Too tense. Too inevitable. Yet each time I get a glimpse of the charming man beneath the growly exterior I wonder... could this beast be tamed?
Readers note: Full-length Billionaire Enemies-to-Lovers Romance with a lot of heat, action and a Happily Ever After.

Peyton was wild and adventurous. I wish I had half her artistic skills! It was at the Legende’s Ball in Washington DC that Ryan bought all her paintings and was able to meet her. They were two beautiful people who hit is off immediately. It was crazy that Peyton didn’t want to ever want to settle down, but move from place to place. It wasn’t surprising when Ryan asked her to come to Argentina to do more paintings for his travel empire that she went. The two were off the charts when they were together at night or the day! Ryan was super rich which was hard in some aspects for Peyton. Peyton was more a down to earth person who liked to see how everyone lived, not just the rich. Unfortunately there was a awful cartel man that wanted Ryan to work with him so he could use Ryan’s legitimacy to cover his evil. I was so glad Ryan didn’t want any part of it, but Ryan was eventually forced to do something he didn’t want. It gets really scary and I was so mad on Peyton and Ryan’s behalf. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
Once again the Legends Ball (The Bosshole series) brings another couple together. Payton is a free spirited artist and best friends with Ophelia/Asher, Harper/Reid, Genni/Cash, Andre/Eliza (from previous books in this series). The group get together every year at the Ball and one by one the couples found love. This year its Payton’s turn and it starts with a handsome billionaire (Ryan) buying all her paintings on display at the ball. They spend a hot night together and he asks her to come back to his home in Argentina to paint scenes for tourism. He runs a very high end travel empire and likes to bring business to his home. Ryan is very alpha and likes to be in control but can’t help but appreciate how Payton ignores his bossy controlling ways and forces him to relax a little. Ryan’s brother is smarmy and associates with a lot of horrible, dangerous criminals. When he forces Ryan to meet with Manuel Alphanso who is a trafficker of drugs, people, blood diamonds and anything else he can think of. He also murdered and entire family at one of Ryan’s homes and got away with it. When Ryan refuses to work with Manuel to use his travel business to help smuggle and launder for him, Manuel kid apps Payton and blackmails Ryan keeping both prisoners. Payton goes through hell for 3.5 months until Ryan forces her to be returned but things aren’t much better even when they are together. There is a lot that goes into Ryan and Payton being free and sometimes it seems like they will never survive to see their hea. . Even though the title of the book says enemies to lovers, at no point in this book were Ryan and Payton enemies, I am not sure if that is supposed to be a part of the series title and I just misunderstood. Ryan is essentially a travel agent for the super elite and Payton is an artist, both thrive on travel and adventure. A one night stand turns into Payton traveling to Argentina with Ryan to paint for his promotional materials. The first 1/3 of the book is the two of them traveling around Argentina so Payton can paint. About halfway through the book Ryan's business makes him and Payton a target for bad people.
I felt like there were two separate stories here. I would have loved a book with the wanderlust turning into a real permanent relationship and dealing with the angst of an accidental pregnancy. I also would have loved the book where they are suddenly pulled into a dangerous situation. For some reason the two halves of the book didn't work for me. I definitely think it is worth the read. This book is a part of a series, I did not read any of the previous books and I did not feel like I was missing out on anything, it definitely stood alone.
I love that Mia Faye has continued her Bosshole series, this time with Peyton (the third roommate in Houston). Peyton is a wonderful artist trying to find her place in the world. She's used to not being in one place for long, so it's odd that she has spent so much time in Houston. Until she meets Ryan McAllister at the annual party with her girlfriends at Legende in DC. He falls in love with her paintings and let's just say the sparks flew right away. Ryan is so infatuated by Peyton that he suggests she paint for him in Buenos Aires. How could Peyton say no?
Their love blossoms throughout the book. It may have started just about sex, but then they both realized they actually loved each other. There is action, adventure, travelling to exotic locales, and political intrigue. You will love how Peyton and Ryan grow together. It is a beautiful love story!

This is the story of Peyton and Ryan. She is an artist, a really talented one and he is a CEO. They are completely different. They met in a party and the attraction was intense. He loved her paints and bought all of them, great for her! He wanted more from her. He asked her to go with him to Buenos Aires to continue painting more for him. She accepted but this was supposed to be a one night stand, now she is traveling with him, living with him and more. Everything is out of control, specially between really different people. The attraction is there but she loves her freedom. This story has a twist when a mad man wanted Ryan to work for him putting everybody at risk. Will they be able to be together? Will Ryan stay clean and won't get involved on dirty business? This book is good but is a little confused. Worth to read it. Nice characters and plot. Highly recommended.

True Fake Love was so beautiful and nerve racking but a HEA!
So much controversy in the love affair for Ryan and Peyton. It started at the Legende Ball, the purchase of Peyton’s paintings and an awesome one night stand. Ryan wanted more time with Peyton and invited her to Argentina to paint some pictures for his exotic international travel agency. Ryan was threatened with his agency being used as a cover for illegal dealings and when he said no, Peyton was kidnapped. Her struggles in captivity led to the change of heart by the man responsible for holding her captive. An unplanned pregnancy helped her to cope and live for her baby and her love for Ryan. She painted her family on the wall where she was held. This story was well written with a powerful storyline. I definitely recommend this book.
Unpredictable by its evolution 4.5 At first I thought it was a bit of a weird development, both slow in pace and fast in action, to develop the relationship between Ryan and Peyton. Then the story changes completely halfway through the story. The story becomes unpredictable, intense and complex. Even if this is under duress, I liked that the characters reposition themselves outside their initial context of life (a rich man who invests little in the lives of the little people, and a reckless free artist close to people). It shifts their priorities, and it can't be easy anymore. The story evolves from fairly classic contemporary romance to a darker narrative set in a criminal milieu. voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Mia Faye has a knack with her heroes. Usually I can't stand them from moment one. And fall in love around 75% at the end of the book.
This one was different. I liked Ryan at first. A lot. He had kindness ... until he was on his own turf. Then he took a nosedive and yep ... i became a hater. And then around 50% done -- he pivoted right and so did I.
This book was so unique in the series. Totally different location and there was some serious emotion throughout!!!! I still loved Ryan and Peyton. I cried and cheered when they did. I wanted to be Peyton's friend.
This is a standalone but why chance it? If you haven't read the others in the series, start with book 1 and make your way down! You won't regret it!
True Fake Love. This book was captivating. It starts out giving us a story of a self centered man meeting a very adventurous woman at the Legend Ball. They connect and decide to work together. Peyton accepts to do some painting for Ryan's tourist entertainment company. What they didn't expect to come in contact with a monster, Alfonso, who was trying to get Ryan to join him in some illegal trafficking. When Ryan refused him, all hell breaks out and Peyton and Ryan become prisoners. Life changes in a blink of their eyes. Ryan is a billionaire CEO and meets Peyton an artist after he bought several of her paintings. They spend one steamy night together and then their wild and crazy story takes off. True Fake Love started off a bit slow but once it got going I couldn't put this book down until the last page. This story takes some crazy turns filled with danger, drama, demands and so much more but it made the reading that much intense. I loved Ryan and Peyton's journey of love and that ending was the cherry on top. True Fake Love is a great addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This was a hard review to write. I have read other books in this series and enjoyed the characters and storylines very much. I had a hard time getting into the characters in this book. That being said, I did enjoy the descriptions of the various sites that Ryan and Peyton visited. You felt that you were there with them.

True Fake Love by Mia Faye is book 5 in The Bosshole Series. This is the story of Peyton and Ryan. Ryan is a CEO who is totally different from Peyton who is a free spirited along with being a painter. But they sparks fly between the two. Ryan ends up getting Peyton to come with him on a trip that gives her the chance to paint more scene. But they end up finding more than they thought. Enjoyed this book.
This story is phenomenal. Peyton is a free spirit, an artist with an amazing talent. Ryan is rich and loves her paintings and wants to spend time with her. You are going to love how this book takes a turn and ends up. Didn't see any of it coming.

I liked the rest of the books in this series, I wish I had skipped this one. It is just too depressing and bleak. If dark situations don't bother you then you'll probably be okay with this book. If you like enjoyable or fun stories, I advise you to not read this one.
I absolutely loved this story. The storyline was so interesting that it completely captivated me and was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing book. Enjoy happy reading 📚
I came to this book with zero expectations, thinking this will be another light read… and what I found was a gem. Could not put it down. Fabulous characters and a truly villainous villain.
Well this was certainly a surprisely different story. I was waiting for the scene where he apologized to her regarding his thoughts about the baby and then tell her about his true feelings for her. Never happened.
True Fake Love is a fast moving story with a lot of substance. It will certainly keep you interested to discover what happens next. I would recommend this book.
I liked the well formed characters. The fast paced action made the Legende real. Interactions were clearly evil to generous. Well written and fun read.
Great romance with suspense and laughter. Some sad spots as well.Slow in some spots it kept you guess what was going to happen and how. Great characters
