Excellent romance and excellent characters It's a very good romance, with a part of action too. It's that is very well written : we understand from the first chapters, Miller's fatigue and Maddie's desperation to achieve her goal, all in a lost part of the country on Route 66. Their meeting is a form of acceptance that accepting help, it is not a weakness. Their characters, their bonds are quickly intense, hot, and tender. I would have loved a few more chapters to discover the “and now ?” I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Miller an ex soldier is passing through on Route 66 when a sand storm hits and he crashes his car out side a Mechanic shop. Seeking help and shelter he meets up with Maddy a fiesty mechanic preparing to reopen the workshop. I absolutely loved the book and the story was original. Miller had an path to his best friend Peck who is dillutional and always getting into trouble. I think this is all about who you owe your loyalty to and how you can help someone without hurting yourself. A very important message in this day and age. This was a fantastic book and I highly recommend it. This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
I loved this book, and it is my first "One Wild Weekend" book to read but it won't be my last. Maddy is the only girl in a family full of military men. When ex Vet Miller literally crashes near her garage that is out in the desert, you might say that fate knew what it was doing. They have a passionate and wild weekend that ends too soon but leaves both of them thinking about the other and the "what ifs". There is action, danger and surprises with every page turn and the author leaves us just a bit of mystery about Ford Miller's life that makes this book perfect.

This story has a broken down car, some incredible chemistry, an absolutely insane plot twist in Phoenix and a heroine to the rescue. I liked how in this story, it’s the hero (Miller) that needs help and the heroine (Maddy) who comes to his aid. Yes, Miller comes back and provides help in the end, but she rescues him first! An action-intense story, packed into one weekend.
I loved the premise of this book. Miller and Maddy are great characters. I really liked how Maddy was chasing her dream and trying so hard to make it work. The way her family did the tough love thing to try and get her to conform really bothered me. The chemistry between them was fantastic. The storyline kind of went all over the place with extra characters and plots that didn't really add anything to the story. So a good story with some confusing aspects. . Lexi's One Wild Weekend books are hot, but Miller might set a new bar. I mean, there's a mechanic, a former soldier and a classic car! What more do you need? The storyline moves along quickly, but smoothly. Loved it!
The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Maddie and Miller and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with suspense, secrets and steam.

I always set time aside to read “One Wild Weekend”. An exciting romantic suspense is guaranteed. Maddy wants to start a car shop on her own, not another failure that needs her family’s rescue. She is short on cash but refuses to get any help. Miller stumbles on Maddy’s shop, chased by a storm. He can’t leave because the rain floods the road and his car needs a new radiator. Maddy can see the signs of PTSD on Miller. She is familiar with them, since many of her family members serve in the military. All good intentions go out of the windows when their chemistry spikes like the heat in Arizona desert. Stuck in the shop for the rain-soaked weekend, they have wild sex. What is Miller up to? He doesn’t want to leave Maddy but he has some commitment to meet. On his way out on Monday, he leaves more cash than Maddy expects. It makes her wonder the source of the cash. Suspense and action follow Miller’s commitment. His past and present conflict each other. Maddy kind of figures out she can’t always be a rebel without cause. Family will always come to rescue. Miller finds out he has to leave his past behind to have his future. I would really love a rainy weekend to stay in and read this lovely story. A fairly short unique read... I won't detail the story which has been outlined in the blurb & previous reviews so in broad brush strokes, sexy former army ranger meets gorgeous young female motor mechanic. She fixes his car & he gets a load more benefits on the house including toe curling heat. He leaves & neither can stop thinking about the other. Her elder brother appears to get a kick out of pressing all her buttons in a derogatory manner. Her father, ex military, calls her Maverick but she only came to learn much later that it was intended to be a praiseworthy endearment not a slight. Can this poor girl catch a break, undoubtedly when the army ranger returns to assist her at the garage & provide security at the same time along with several other off the record benefits. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Maddy is the epitome of stubborn. This gorgeous tomboy lives her life on her terms and accepts no help from anyone. That is, until fate has other plans and a storm drops Miller at her garages door. He is a reclusive army vet with a heart of gold and a secret mission to help out a friend in need. There adventure teaches them that not only do they need each other but accepting help from others only makes you stronger.

You never know what will happen when you take Route 66
One Wild Weekend With Miller is the eighteenth book in the One Wild Weekend series. This smoking hot and super sexy story is about Maddy and Miller, one sandstorm in Arizona, and instant attraction that is overpowering, and a while weekend of bedroom fun. This story is fast-paced, intricate, suspenseful, heart pounding and that doesn't even include the chemical reaction between Maddy and Miller.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Definatly steaming hot read. Maddie, struggling to open her garage, refuses assistance from her family. Miller, ex military man ends up at her garage during a sandstorm when he crashes his car. Needless to say one scorching hot weekend follows. I would have preferred a lot more of the background story in this book. For me it fell short of the mark mainly due to having only snippets of the background, which would have gone a long way to explain why Maddie and Miller did the things ther did and to understanding their current position.
Maddy is starting up her own auto repair business in the middle of nowhere. Miller gets caught in a storm and ends up seeking refuge at Maddy's garage. Maddy desperately needs money to keep her business afloat. "That she's so incredibly stubborn to the point of endangering herself is infuriating." "I've never really been one of the girls who swoon, but if I was, Miller Ford and his quiet intensity, and wickedly devilish tongue, would probably have done it." "Life is about knowing which battles to fight and who to fight them with."
This one has you on you toes. She is stubborn and he has secrets. Standalone with no Cliffhangers. Maddy will do anything to get her auto shop in the middle of no where up and running. Even let a stranger stay with her during a monsoon. Miller will do anything for his friend Peck, but this time he may be losing his one chance at happiness. Is she willing to bend and go against her father for love? I enjoyed the love for each other that grew in this book and the love for family both good and bad. Lexi Hart had me glued to the pages, just not getting enough of Maddy and Miller. Secrets, PTSD and concern drive this weekend that turns into a few weeks and a solution for Maddy. A garage on Route 66 seems to be a good plan, but Maddy needs to accept help to get to build her dream. Miller, no longer in the army, now works in security and could answer needs. I never have to read the synopsis of books by Lexi Hart. I know I will enjoy every word.
