A Scottish Highland Christmass

Rate this book
Eluard Erling - known as "The Watcher" is a Viking. He is a gentle giant with old world values. He kept to himself and never spoke of his past, a time he preferred to forget. After years of searching, a man from that past, found him in Paris. Now Eluard was on his way to Scotland, a whole new world was opening up for him.
Tulonia Sutherland always wanted to be loved, have a family, and have a home but it wasn't meant to be. Her sister had it all and wanted none of it. When her sister died, Tulonia was left to care for her nephew, Tucker, a child unwanted by his parents. Tucker’s father, Rodney Gere, sold their farm and left them with nothing.
Life takes on a whole new meaning for Eluard, and it all starts with the shaggy cows of the Scottish highlands. Lost in a snowstorm in the highlands, Eluard must rescue four missing cows before they freeze to death.
Mysterious things start to happen, and an old Viking chest holds the key to Eluard's past and his future.

I was born in Toronto, Canada. I moved to southern California in the mid-sixties. I worked for a record company, a cosmetic manufacturer, and as a school bus driver. I rescued abused horses and raised Quarter horses. I retired in 2010 and moved to New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment, with my husband and menagerie of dogs, cats and birds.
In October 2015, I sat down with an idea while watching TV and started to write on my tablet and couldn’t stop.
In March, 2016, I released Bearly Too Old. By then I had written two books and was working on a third when I got brave enough to self-publish my first book. I hope you enjoy my books. They do contain adult content and are intended for 18 years of age and older.

Somethings that are lost aren't really lost at all, they're right out in plain sight. Such is the case of Eluard " the Watcher ". In this fabulous story Eluard has a home for the first time that he can remember and he's no longer the Watcher but he is home. Eluard is a giant from a long lost race, he has a rich historical past but he really has no idea just how is past will catch up to him and the reveale so much more. Who would have thought that wee coos could change a man's life and open up a whole new world. Who would believe that elves are alive and well in the Scottish Highlands! Follow this intriguing tale of legend, love and heritage.
In the this tale author Margery Ellen takes her readers on a wild and exciting tale of today's world mixed with old world values and legends come to life.

A Scottish Highland Christmas is an excellent read about Eluard Erling, The Watcher. How Ms. Ellen portrayed his transition, bit by bit, from living in Paris as a shy man to a brave, compassionate, loving man in Scotland was fantastic. His story is filled with suspense, uncertainty, passion, discovery, and love. Even though this story is a Christmas story, it would be a great read for any time of year. Ms. Ellen, well done! I read this book using Kindle Unlimited.
