Torn between needing to make the comment that this is probably seen as dated - there must be dozens of glossy alternatives and DVDs and whatever on the market - torn between that observation and the fact that this is a very simple, easy to read and absorb book of advice. First published in 1971, when I was young and relatively fit and myself undergoing exercise routines like these in the military, I first came across the book a decade or so later and found it a useful tool for getting myself active and relatively fit again. Simple sets of instructions, tailored to people of different ages, gender, fitness levels, etc. As a book to get you mobile again after an injury or prolonged inactivity, it's both basic and very useful. It's careful to warn against pushing too hard, particularly if you're getting on, are significantly overweight, or suffer from any medical condition. Sensible, easy to follow - listen to the warnings and don't push yourself too hard ... you're trying to get mobile and active, not compete for an Olympic medal.
