They Said They Wanted More: A Hilarious Journey Hiking the NH 52 With a View

Rate this book
People have called Ken not right in the head, funny, whacky, crazy and hilarious. He really doesn’t care as long as they call him to hike.
Once again Ken uses his satirical warped sense of humor, making light of the struggles of hiking the “52 With a View” while incessantly menacing his friends. This time he has mixed it up by adding hiking tips and having contributors tell some tales.
New Hampshire is a hiker’s paradise. However, each year many are injured, and sadly some die. Hikers need to be prepared. NH is home to some of the bravest and best trained SAR volunteers. These men and women venture out in some of the worst conditions on the planet and it is relief to know if you get into trouble, help is on the way.
If you are not a hiker, enjoy the peek into the world of hiking and then run for the hills.
As with his first book, profits go to NH SAR. For that we say thank you for your purchase.

I read the first book about the 4000 footers journey. I absolutely loved it! I had to read this one when I saw it. I have climbed over half the 52 WAV and all of the 4000 footers. I enjoyed reading about his climbs and I will be climbing those I have left. I am in the middle of his third book now and look forward to more. I love reading about hiking and especially when it is about New Hampshire. Definitely a good read to those that hike in New Hampshire. I love the humor and detailed writing. The bonus is the money from book sales goes to Search and Rescue. SAR is so crucial to saving lives in the mountains.
