Finally Book Two.
I was waiting and waiting for this to find out more about Megan and CJ's journey through Nalrin - did they finally extinguish the evil that threatened the world they got thrust into? Is the family okay? What's up with Clarice and Lindy (my fav character!)?
The way this series has pulled me into another world has been wonderful. The interaction between the characters, the strong feelings of love and the action (some of it really steamy for sure!!) has all made for an excellent read.
Now I have to wait on book three. Don't keep me hanging and don't emotionally destroy me like you did in this one, please.

Amazing story and characters
Megan and CJ both have a lot of learning and training to do. Both together and apart so that together with their family they can face Ansel again. In book 2 of this series we learn so much more about all of the characters and even more about the wonderfully built world of Nalsar. The threat isn't over though and Ansel is up to something. We see love, spice, adventure, loss, and the gain of power.
I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys their romance and spice with action, adventure and page turning suspense.

This was a vast improvement on book 1 it had more story and more grounding. I actually enjoyed most of it. The only thing that really bothered me was the slushy mushy stuff and yea I get the love and strength that is between CJ and Megan but come on it was over bearing. Really overbearing!!! I do want to see where it goes though as things make a lot more sense.

This is the 2nd book in the series.
Megan and her best friend, CJ, have fallen in love. At the same time, Megan is faced with the fact that her parents are trying to build a weapon to destroy the world(The Five Angels, book 1). In The Ash'bani, Megan is still trying to figure out a way to defend the realms and defeat her father. Darkness keeps pulling on her. She's facing what seems to be an impossible challenge. She didn't ask for any of it. She only wanted to find love with CJ and start a life together. Instead, they must do the impossible. The weight of the challenge seems too much to take. Will Megan make it through?
This series is one of the best series I've ever read and was the series that made me fall in love the fantasy genre!

I didn't fully enjoy this book because I was sick the past few days, as I finished reading it. I think my brain couldn't keep up with everything happening. But of what I do remember, it was a good book.
I can hopefully give a better review later when I re-read.

This book did NOT disappoint!
Nothing like trying to plan and pull off a wedding while also trying not to get assassinated AND figure out how to stop the world from being taken over by an evil entity. Did I mention the guests are from two different dimensions? No stress, right?
At least Megan and CJ get to enjoy their honeymoon. Well, until chaos hits the fan, again.
Once again, I loved Kimberly Ringer's character banter and story telling. She sweeps you in and takes you along for one amazing journey! The twists and turns this book takes you on will keep you guessing until the end!
That ending? Oof! Not quite the reunion anyone was expecting. Where is book three??
