Jack Tickle's work is widely recognised - in 2005 'The Very Dizzy Dinosaur' won the Book Trust Early Years Award.

Jack Tickle likes listening to Radio 4 whilst working and eating chocolate biscuits. "Working in acrylic paint is good because you can wipe off any coffee you spill - or chocolate traces."

Jack Tickle is the pseudonym of award winning children's illustrator Jane Chapman, who has won many awards in her own right. She is married to fellow author / illustrator Tim Warnes.

A lovely pop-up book about a lion, his zoo friends, and their natural habits. I read this to my Kindergarteners and they loved making all the animal sounds and acting out their actions. A fun read aloud!
