The Spaces Between Us

Rate this book
'The Spaces between Us' explores the themes of distance and home in many unique ways, Covid-related and otherwise. Does home represent comfort? Is distance freedom? Or is home becoming claustrophobic, distance a painful gap from something previous? This diverse collection of poetry and prose offers readers a rich collage of perspectives from writers across Yorkshire and beyond.

This anthology offers a tantalising peek into how others experienced the pandemic and lockdown. Expressed through poetry and short fiction there is a wealth of experiences and perspectives to explore through this beautifully edited work. From the heart-breaking perspective of the immuno-compromised child, denied freedom to be a child to reflections on dreams and memories, to the loneliness of an empty house, this anthology explores various dimensions of Lockdown and its effects empathetically and creatively.
