Tamsyn's Twin Daddies

Rate this book
What’s the only thing better than a smoking hot, dominant daddy? Two.
Tamsyn Yates is the best friend a girl could ask for, a professional badass with a knack for taming spreadsheets, and a middle. Yep, definitely a middle. Not a little. At least that’s what she tells everyone at Hive, the club she joins when she moves to Clover City.

Huxley Foster-Webb was forced into the public eye fresh out of law school, replacing his father who’d been a beloved congressman. His twin Lowell followed in his shadow, and the two of them carried on the Foster-Webb political dynasty until the pressure of being beyond reproach became too much, and a heart attack compelled Hux into retirement. Finally free to lead their lives out of the public eye, Hux and Lo are ready to pursue their dream of finding a little girl to love.

When the brothers meet hot-blooded and ambitious Tamsyn, they think their fantasy has come to life. But the blond firebrand insists she’s not a little and she doesn’t need anyone to take care of her, never mind two someones. Can Lowell and Huxley sway her vote or will the three of them end in deadlock?

Tamsyn’s Twin Daddies is a standalone novel in the Clover City Littles series. It features a stubborn and feisty career-minded woman, and two picture-perfect, high-handed men who are used to getting what they want, one way or another.

3.3 stars.
I really enjoyed this book.
It was funny(Hux’s inner thoughts were so sweet and sometimes just absolutely hilarious while he tried to keep a straight face).
I really loved seeing the growth and development that the FMC and Hux went through during the book.
Tamsyn really had to learn to let go and trust her partners, and it was beautiful to see her find that with the twins.
The kink was really well written.
Of course, some of the things in here are not my favorite to read about, but they were done well and I had a fun time seeing the characters fulfill their fantasies and be happy.

But.
I really didn’t enjoy a couple important things.
First let me start off with the less important one.
The way things wrapped up with Tamsyn’s assault.
i.e. Nothing happens on page when they find out who did it to her. There’s a teeny tiny confrontation with the guy and Lo, and then zero words about it afterwards.
What the hell is that?
Completely unsatisfying.
That’s what that is.

Then!
Lowell!
I’ll be honest, his relationship with Tamsyn AND Hux was just plain bad.
We don’t get much time with him. He expresses feeling like a third wheel and he totally acts like he is.
Then he fucking leaves because he’s jealous of the limelight his brother got and Angry because he got out of it after his Heart Attack! 🙄 For real. Lowell was a complete ass the whole book. Then when Tamsyn gets hurt he comes back and everything is just fine? Uh no.
This book just didn’t feel like all parties were equally in the relationship. It really just felt like Hux was her ‘Daddy’ and ‘Lolo’ was her uncle who sometimes visited and ‘played’ with them.

🤷🏻‍♀️I still really enjoyed most of the book.
I just think those things really brought things down, for me.

The last book in Clover City Littles series & I just feel sad it had to end 😔
-I'm so gonna read the extras & start the other series (Bright Lights Little Darlings) cause I'm not ready to leave Clover City just yet 😅-

I really enjoyed many things about this book .. I loved the relationships between the twins and I loved their relationship with Tamsyn -together & individually- 🫠
All the characters where strong, smart, & successful & each grabbed my interest in a different way ..
I also loved how the relationship progressed between Tamsyn & Hux, then she & Lo .. specially the first chapters when they were getting to know each other, it was a little awkward & exciting as one would feel meeting someone they like for the first time & trying to figure out everything about them & maybe figuring out things about yourself as well 🌹

The way they all got more & more comfortable around each other & in their roles was so sweet & heartwarming to read & the spice was sooo good 🤤

There's always a "challenge" or a "relationship obstacle" at the end of these books, but I didn't see that one coming nor did I expect that plat twist 🫣

The couple: Huxley/Tamsyn/Lowell

Romance trope: DDlg/Menage
Series: Clover City Littles
Length: 322 pages

Plot: Tamsyn is new to Clover City and has found her way to the local sex club. She's drawn to the nursery but is adamant that she's a Middle rather than a Little. That doesn't stop her from attracting the attention of Huxley, star politician and budding Daddy. They strike up a relationship of sorts, but waiting in the wings is Huxley's twin brother, Lowell. Lowell wants what they have badly, but his place has always been in the shadows. The three of them might be ready to forge something new though.

Commentary: In general, I don't like menage DDlg stories as well as M/F DDlg stories - just a personal preference. I felt like there was so much tension between the brothers; even though they loved each other, there was resentment and distance, and I wished that had been resolved a little more.
What I did like was the idea of what it would be like if a politician (a decent one, like it sounds like Huxley was), had a secret like that, a fetish or kink that most people would look down on. How on earth would that work?
But if this were a real relationship, I don't think it would have mattered. Lowell was always going to be a problem until he got himself sorted out. There was too much self-hatred and unresolved trauma from his family (I'm guessing) and he needed to deal with that before he could be a functioning part of the relationship. He was selfish in a way that his brother wasn't (and that probably just made it worse).

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of Tamsyn with her to Daddys Huxley and Lowell. These characters were relatable and all very strong and independent in their own fields of employment. Huxley was in politics but due to health issues, namely having a heart attack and feeling his mortality, he retired, which left his twin brother Lowell floundering and trying to find himself.

Tamsyn was lost without Maddie now she found her Daddy at the Rawhide Ranch. She says she identifies as a middle not a little, but Huxley and Loel know that she is really hiding her little side. They are happy to explore all of this with her and help her through the danger she is in. There is a happily ever after and a future for all three of them together.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.

This is the story of a woman named Tamsyn. She meets a guy named Huxley at a fetish club called HIVE. She doesn’t realize that he has a twin brother named Lowell. Tamsyn and Huxley have a misunderstanding at first until she finds out that Huxley has a twin. Lowell is introduced to Tamsyn at the their house because Huxley used to be in political office until he had a heart attack. Huxley survived his heart attack. Lowell meets Tamsyn and he will share her with his brother Huxley. Tamsyn is uncertain what it will be like to be shared by two men. Lowell walks away because he is offered a job but when Tamsyn is violently attacked he realizes that Tamsyn is his life and he wants to be with her and his brother Huxley. I liked this book. It took a minute for Tamsyn to admit that she was a Little instead of a Middle.

It’s lovely to return to Clover City and Hive. This time it’s the turn of Tamsyn, Huxley and Lowell to have their story told.

Tamsyn is a no-nonsense, loyal, caring Middle who is fairly new to Clover City. She meets Huxley at Hive (the local club) but a case of mistaken identity, at the supermarket, leads her to be irritated and annoyed with him. Lowell is the reason for this misunderstanding and when Huxley realises the reason for her irritation, he quickly sorts it out.

As always, these are great characters who quickly endear themselves to the reader. Add in a delightful, entertaining storyline, with reappearances from past characters and you have a great book.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

Tamsyn’s Twin Daddies is the eighth installment in the Clover City Littles series penned by Honey Meyer. In this enjoyable age-gap romance, readers meet Tamsyn Yates, Huxley Foster-Webster, and Lowell Foster-Webster. Huxley “Hux” and Lowell are twins. They come from a wealthy and political family. Hux suffers a near fatal heart attack and resigns from his political office. Now, in the private sector, can Hux find happiness with Lily? Will Lilly accept a polyamorous relationship with the twins? You must read this book to find out. I enjoyed Ms. Meyer’s writing style and her multi-layered lead characters who are strong, determined, confident yet vulnerable. I enjoyed their growth as the story progressed. I liked the strong dialog and dual POV that fills in their back stories. Ms. Meyer masterfully uses of descriptive language paints vivid scenes that draw her readers into each scene. Well done, Ms. Meyer.

3 is not a crowd

Tamsyn, Lowell and Huxley are just the 3 to make a menage a trois work.
Lowell and Huxley are identical twins with the same taste in women - a little.
Tamsyn is a medium girl not a little.
Fantastic characters and a wonderful story about the 3 of them as a unit.
Also, shows what type of family the twins come from and what a tight relationship Tamsyn has with her bestie Maddie.

I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.

So Good! Sweet and a little spicy too.

A dynamic storyline with very relatable emotions conveyed, the yin and yang of heart and head. Surprising twists bring a whole lot of excitement to this fledging triad, emphasizing what is really important for their relationship and how together they are so much more.

I am glad Tamsyn found what she needed to be happy, balancing her professional life with the stress relief, love and contentment of her personal side.

Tamsin is convinced that she’s NOT a Little however when she meets Huxley at the local bdsm club the Hive he’s determined to show her what she’s missing out on, along with some help and an unfortunate miscommunication when she meets his twin in a shop with another woman, that won’t fly with her and the next time she sees him at The Hive she tells him so as well. Can Huxley convince her to go to his house so she can meet his brother? Will they convince her to give both of them a chance?

I really liked the playful scenes with Tamsyn, Hux, and Lolo. They were fun and hot all at the same time. I liked that they met in a somewhat traditional way at the club. I like that this story deviated from the standard Clover City format just a smidge. I HATED that there was no justice and they completely left us hanging with the attack. So annoying. I might need to take a break from Clover City for a bit.

I enjoyed some of this book but there was no conclusion on a pretty big plot point. It left the book feeling unfinished.

I believed Hux loved her and wanted to be with her but Lo didn’t. It didn’t seem like there was actually any feelings between them other than arousal.

The whole thing just felt kind of bland.

I liked Huxley, Lowell and Tamsyn but I didn't feel drawn into their story. I liked that Tamsyn is new to the city and didn't know who Hux and Lowell were. I liked that Hux and Lo were twins but very different in personalities. Tamsyn is the perfect addition for her Daddy and Lolo.

A fun, steamy and addictive story with Tamsyn, Huxley, and Lowell. I enjoyed their chemistry and how their relationship bloomed throughout the novel.
