Michelle Vernal is a bestselling author of warm, witty, and uplifting Irish fiction. Born in England to parents from Liverpool – often called “Little Ireland” – she grew up on her mum’s tales of Iocal families, music, and humour. Later, she lived, worked, got engaged, and travelled extensively in Ireland, experiences that inspire her much-loved novels, including the hilarious Guesthouse on the Green series. Her stories, filled with heart, humour, and unforgettable characters, have earned her a loyal readership worldwide.
You can't go wrong Mammy and the girls. They're like family to me except they're a whole lot more fun. When I start a new book I really want to inhale it like it's something yummy but they're not food yet they are some of the most wonderful characters that you'd ever get to know in a book. Even though I want to binge read an O'Mara book at the same time I want to slowly cherish each word because I don't want to run out of books about them. Thank you Michelle Vernal for bringing so much joy to the world.
As usual it was great to catch up with the O’Mara family. It’s like popping in for a coffee with your best friends. I love reading about a second person relating to the Guesthouse, be it guest, employee, friends, or member of the extended family. Sadly, I felt this instalment was lacking it’s usual Joie de Vivre. It was repetitive and long winded in some places. That said I can’t wait to catch up again with this magical family.
The O’Mara family are one of my favorites. You can never tell what shenanigans they’ll be up to. It took me two and a half days to read, only because my normal life got in the way…I guess I have to clean and cook whether I want to or not. Michelle never disappoints, I love her books!
What can I say? This book is another brilliant fun read in the O'Mara series. Full of laughter, I love how mammy controls most of what goes on in the family in hilarious ways. Anyone who has not tried this series should do so now. Highly recommend. Michelle ..... I can't wait for the next book.
This is one of my favorite series! I love that there is always 2 stories in one, one about the family and one about a guest or employee. That being said, I do think Freya’s story could have been a little more in-depth. This is a very light, easy, funny, short read. Perfect reading for the beach or pool.
Rainbows over O 'Mara's is a wonderful beautiful and very funny book.Michelle Veral should be very very pleased with this book. The guesthouse on the green series should be made into a tv series. I personally would watch it over and over again. So well done Michelle. I can't wait for the next book to come q.xoxox

Not even gonna lie…..I got so sucked in by the story that the last bit of book had me all misty eyed at all the feelings. It was a great book and I highly recommend it!
the last book in this series. It is a lovely series about family, love and loyalty. the Irish lilt is evident throughout. I really don't want the series to end, however their is a reunion book which I will eventually read. For now a change of pace.
Each book builds the characters so beautifully and tells such a wonderful story. Its a welcome home feeling you get each time you open a new book in this series! I highly recommend it.
Unputdownable, as are all of Michelle Vernals books. When you’re reading about the O’Mara’s it’s like you’re one of them. I can’t wait for the next book.
I so enjoy this family and feel as if I know them personally. They remind me of the closeness of my own family and all my memories growing up in our big Italian family. Looking forward to the next book!
