"Life is different when you are dating, True colors emerge only when you actually spend a life together"

It's a short book with eight shots to help tackle a wide array of mental and social obstacles. There is a different angle to the different moods of the women in each story. It feels like you are opening a door and a new story begins, then another opens, another story is starting, which I liked the most.Overall, all the stories are good but I like London Dream and liberated soul the most. If you are or were in a relationship then you may also find yourself in these situations.

It is written in very simple language so that readers can enjoy reading. This is a love story and relationship based book that won't let you get bored till the end

“A happy heart is a treasure trove. An upset heart is a devil’s abode.”

Short stories have a great way of entertaining readers through their short, subtle, and precise nature. “Shots: Small tales, big fun” by Nand K. Agarwal is a collection of 8 short stories. The protagonists of all these short stories are women and readers get great insights, exclusive access to these women’s minds, and fun through the author’s empathetic words woven into tiny stories.

These lovely tales are about love, self-discovery, fighting against societal pressure and mental barriers. The stories cover different themes such as emotional distances created in COVID 19 pandemic, one girl’s dream to work in foreign cities like London, love stories in rural India, emotional turmoils in love stories, etc. All these stories hit the right chords in anyone’s heart and make us high with each shot.

The language is easy to understand and beginners can definitely go for it. The cover of the book is so attractive and can grab anyone’s attention at one glance. The narration is good and small quotes or lines while reading these stories, grab our attention, carve a smile on our face and make us ponder upon various things in everyday life.

Overall, it was a wonderful read. As the title suggests, these small tales will definitely give you big fun.

Shots : Small tales, big fun ! by Nand K Agarwal

➡ A heartwarming book of short stories

Shots is author Band's first attempt at pursing his long lasting love writing and I must say he cracked it very well. The book comprises of 8 short stories with love as the main theme. Each of the stories has female protagonist as big gun . The first story London dreams left me in awe while the last one Love in silence made me smile. Lost and found story was very impactful on proving how unresolved issues over a period of time turns into neverending wound.

✨Power pillars of the book you'll love:
1. The title of the book is very thoughtful.
2. The 8 shots are enough to give you a high and drop you in other world.
3. The rangolis on book cover and between pages is beautiful and eye-catching.
4. The illustration are mesmerizing.
5. The characters are strong and well crafted with spellbound narration and twistful ends.
6. The stories kept me hooked from starting to end.

✨Weakness :
1. A few stories I felt were incomplete and could have better ending.

👉Anyone who loves reading short stories should go for it.

It's an anthology of eight short stories. The characters are all women, and the author's compassionate words weaved into short stories give a great insight into women's minds and moods. Each narrative is unique in its own way. Many things were relatable, which was my favourite part.
The stories cover a wide range of topics, including love, self-evaluation, social and mental boundaries, cheating, sadness during the Covid 19 pandemic, and a variety of other topics.
It's a short book, and I finished it in the evening while drinking my coffee. It's a terrific book for travelling or relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea. The wording is straightforward and easy to understand.

What can I say about the quotes? They were succinct and perfect.
The story ended suddenly, indicating that there would be a sequel, and I'm looking forward to reading it.

This is a good book for beginners, as well as those who have unfinished love stories or have experienced heartbreaks. It's also a good book for anyone who reads or wants to start reading.

📌Book Review

🔹 Do you like reading short stories? They're good and the best entertainment for a short time. Right!!!

🔹 Here's a book of short 8 stories. All stories are of women, 8 Women facing different aspects in life, having a unique character, what I like about the book is every story was showing a different perspective of a woman's life, from struggle to fun, from pain to love, heart broke to independent.

📌My take

✒ I found this interesting, because of the shortness of it, in very short stories the author has done good work on character building, simple and impactful language makes it a fast read, one can read this book anytime from any chapter.

📌Recommendation

🖊 To anyone who would like to read a book for some entertainment, you can do this while travelling, while sitting alone, or in some spare time. But it's really good for you if you're a beginner and wants to build reading habits.

Shots is a combination of 8 female oriented stories which includes love, lust, passion, motivation, etc.

Stories are immensely interesting, they kept you entertained and engaged till the last page. Entertainment quotient was so high that I took only two days to complete this book.

Each Shot is like different kind of female character. It does walk you through different shades of women and their natures.

Short stories are my personal favourite coz they don’t demand your dedication for longer time and yet gives you complete satisfaction. Likewise, author @nandk.agarwal has made it crisp, to the point and unique. I strongly agree to what author’s well wishers said i.e. every story of the book deserves a web 🌎

My personal favourites are “Love & it’s affairs and Love in silence” l also enjoyed beautiful drawings of the protagonist before respective story. I enjoyed every bit of it and I strongly recommend this one.

This is a collection of 8 female Oriented short stories. Why am I calling it female-oriented, because all 8 stories revolve around a female protagonist. I always call a collection of short stories a collection of emotions because each protagonist has different emotions, a different story, a different point of view. Likewise, this is also a collection of Love, Lust, Ambitions, Mental Turmoil, Fun, Heartbreak, and so on and on and on...
In this book as well 8 different leads, Neha, Meenakshi, Sneha, Sanjana all have different life, different problems, and also have different solutions to those problems.

All story names start with the letter "L":
𝐋ondon Dreams: It's a story about an ambitious woman Neha.
𝐋ocked Down: It's a story about Meenakshi a married woman to discover her true feeling.
𝐋iberated Soul: It's a story about Sneha, a free soul, who faces her emotional turmoil when she finally falls in love.
