There are many people living with what is commonly known as 'a hidden disability', which is dyslexia. As a result, people—including children—at different stages of their lives, may encounter challenges that they are unable to come to terms with. This is why this book is written; it attempts to explore dyslexia, its impact, and some guides to live life to the fullest, even as a dyslexic. It attempts to guide dyslexic adults, children and their parents.
This is a very informative and necessary book for the Caribbean. It’s short and to the point, highlights the key facts you need to know about the topic without being too difficult to understand. If you are a parent, school counsellor or educator this book will be useful to you. I hoped for more details about the author’s personal experiences though.
