But there is more to me than you see
Young at heart, a spirit that soars free

The creative me is a lot of fun

I think, I write, I film, I express
For life is not just work, work and stress

What you see here are my expressions true
I hope they strike a chord within you

Small anecdotes on different perspectives, this book is a short, sad journey of life through the eyes of the author. The philosophical aspects here are making powerful statements at the face of the glaring adversities of the modern society. A very powerful articulation of the musings that dives deeper into the societal norms and challenges the choices of our society.

It's a good thought provoking book. At places it's intense with the complexities of life and in some others it tries to simplify the complexities of human psyche leaving behind a question for readers to contemplate upon. Author's choice of stories is diverse, ranging from faith and religion to social dogmas. It is evident that the stories are born out of author's deep consideration of the situations.

Writing style is quite good, preferred the normal musings than the conversation format which is used in some of the stories. I was zoning out in the middle of those conversations. It invokes dreadful experiences which people may have faced. A different book with different perspectives. Beginners can definitely give it a try.

"Most of the sins are committed in the name of god. We are made to fear God. The moment you fear God; he is not God."

'Thinking out loud' by Tapan Ghosh is a collection of short stories which questions the sin we commit in the name of religion, the importance of connecting with our inner self, how British settling in India opened the doors of criticism, inequality, hate and racism.
The book goes on explaining the importance of why It should not be the mind that Controls you but you should be able to control your mind. And it can only be achieved if you listen to your heart, your soul and surrender yourself completely to your inner voice.

"Everything happens for a good purpose. The purpose, the mind comprehends is called ethics. What comes before it is morals; it is what your heart desires."

We blindly follow everything, people even agree to do the most illogical thing in the name of religion which is why it is important to understand what our scriptures say and implement them in our daily life rather than just following everything without questioning the meaning/motive behind it.
It also explains why coincidences are beyond any logical explanation. The author shares a personal incident where he explains that everything happens for a reason. My favourite was 'The truth about astrology' where the author describes how astrological predictions may vary, it depends on our own actions and hence we should not rely upon it and neither call it fraudulent. It is better to know what might happen in the future and be prepared for the worst. At the same time it is illogical to be completely dependent on astrological predictions and we should rather focus on our actions which ultimately shapes our future.
The book is thought provoking and every chapter makes you look at things with a new and different perspective.

The book " Thinking Out Loud - Keeping Nothing Behind" by author Tapan Ghosh is a collection of short stories. The book has 29 stories and each story is different and unique in its way.

Many readers enjoy short stories instead of a full-length novel, this is a great option for all of them.

The stories are short, but the author is successful in trying to keep readers connected to the book emotionally. This book is one of a selected few books you can feel emotionally connected from the beginning to the end.

The book is not big enough, I finished it in four to five sittings, and the reason why once I started reading it, I couldn't put it back without reading it all.

All stories are completely different from each other, and written on different themes.
It's a bit difficult to call a single-story favorite because I liked all of them. They are different from each other and written with meaningful words. This book is a deep read with the meaning or I should say, hidden message for the reader in its Stories.

The language is simple. There is a very thoughtful cover page. The title is full of curiosity. And the content of the book gives meaning to the title very simply. Loved his writing style.

The author has put lots of effort here.

* Looking forward to reading more of his books *

You need too much time to think about life, spirituality, beliefs, and myths, away from everyday tricks. I bet the book could be the perfect companion.
This amazing book will be of interest to everyone. The book has 29 chapters with 29 stories that I find very useful, interesting and reasonable.
Here the creator goes deeper and wonders how such a marvel is a deception. He describes his findings and the research he has done on this particular problem. It resembles an author who wrote such a huge amount on just two pages.
In this book, the author speaks out loud about love, religion, faith, understanding attachment, and many other psychological aspects. Overall, it should make you rethink who you are and what you do. life. In fact, some of the profound topics in this book are only one page long. But since then, this book is significant in that respect. Understanding them is not boring.
The Creator has dealt with religion and conviction, randomness, dogs, and many such interesting themes. The language of the
book is very clear and easy to read. I totally appreciated it and honestly I won't see any problems seeing it again in about half a month.
Great reading...

In life we do not get innumerable chances to set things right. Life is not all straight or all dark but its more of a topsy turvy ride. It is essential to adjust to its changing nature so that we can sustain the ever altering scenario like a pro.

This book talks about a lots of issues majorly the opinion of author on many diverse topics. Its more of a non fictional take on things by him . He has talked about topics ranging from spirituality to sensitive issues like rape , murders etc.

One might not agree with every single thing in the book but the way it is narrated is exemplary. Though at some junctures I felt overdose of information as everything got intermixed because the expression is in the form of stories , poems , exchange of dialogues etc.and author could have opted to stick with one way only. The cover is apt and so does the title.

Overall a decent book which needs a slow reading to settle down and process the content inside instead of hurrying with it .

Thinking Out Loud by Tapan Ghosh is a collection of musings on various topics ranging from rape and religion to love, robots and automation.

This book is not only interesting but also thought provoking. It will surely make you think and you might also gain clarity of your own opinions on certain issues after reading this book. You might agree or disagree with the author but you will surely want to read his perspective as it is presented in an engaging, persuasive and logical manner.

I really liked the tone of this book and the use of dialogues and stories to make a point. This book was a short read and I finished reading it quickly as I couldn't put it down before finishing it.

I liked this book and the diversity of topics really fascinated me. If you are someone who likes to read opinion columns or blog posts or likes to debate current affairs or even if you are a short stories lover, Thinking Out Loud will be a good read for you.

Thinking out loud: Keeping Nothing Behind by Tapan Ghosh
Some words are so beautifully crafted by the author that they create a never ending echo, when you read it time stands still you can't help but stare and try to comprehend the impact it left.
This was one such book.
Priceless Remarkable Unforgettable

Tapan Ghosh weaves spell binding prose that's becomes food for mind and soul.
Each chapter brings a new perspective, that's questions life, love, religion, mindset, society. We get to know about the author's understanding of varied facets of life, his perspective and I just blew my mind.

Even though it's fairly a short read of 90 pages, each page provide a unique reading experience, with prose that sparked my interest, it's really hard to summarise the book, but the writing is beautiful that when you read it elicit emotions, forces you to ponder over underlying meaning and purpose.

I loved that it was random and unexpected compilation of pieces, one moment I was reading about love being an illusion, the very next I am contemplating about Triple Talaq bill and women empowerment.
Surprisingly it made sense, and overall enhanced the reading experience for me.

If you love reading philosophical and profoundly insightful read then grab this book.

KEEPING NOTHING BEHIND
AUTHOR : TAPAN GHOSH
Publication : Become Shakespeare.com
Genre : Philosophical
Format : Paperback
Pages : 90

"Confidence is beyond logical explanation and hence understood only by the illogical part of the mind called heart."
-- My favourite line from this book.

In this book, the author, serving his experiences, has taught his readers to live life well through a lot of short stories. Whatever the author has written on issues like mythology, religion, love, faith, and critisism, is really commendable. This book creates a pause in our fast growing life and makes us think about what we are and what we are doing today. It is necessary to achieve the goal made in life and work hard for it, but the paths are also very important in that journey, this book makes us aware of this. Written in a few pages, this book explains to us many meanings of life and that is why I enjoyed reading this book a lot. Overall it was a quiet good one time read so go and grab this book and read it out.

Thanks for reading.😊

Thinking Out Loud - Keeping Nothing Behind by Tapan Ghosh one of my best read so far this year.
This book is a collection of 29 short stories, with some Comic Coversations some related to society, few talks about social evils of society and how it can be solved. Story of how we underestimate our value ourselves, mythology and religion are two different things, coincidence happen for reason. A potential rapist does care about moral and more about male domination , love is not an illusion, pointing question talk about abolition of triple talaq bill. Marriage run on both Partner contribution with believe in humanity. Astrology is different from astronomy, human with double standards. Faith and religion are two different aspects of life.
This book is a full of different stories; sometimes it is addressing some series of concerns while other times it is sharing giddy cozy stories. The writing of this book is gifted with rich vocabulary. I would like to offer my thanks to the author for crafting this wonderful read.

The title of the book captivates me to pick this book. THINKING OUT LOUD Keeping Nothing Behind makes you think like it has embedded lots of meaning without knowing about the book. Like the author has replenished 29 awakening truths/aspects of life in this short story collection.

The author's perspective of life has been expressively penned by the author. Most of the social issues are explicit through his expressive narration. His way of narration encircles the emotions as loud as it can. And make the readers grasp his intention effectively.

With rational language, the author has demonstrated the entangled issues in his writings. He conveys an intriguing concept for all the 29 stories to hook the attention of the readers.

Tapan Ghosh sets us off down the road of philosophical pondering with his intriguing new book Thinking Out Loud.
It's difficult to summarise the book but if I have to then I would say it's filled musings, prose and conversations that tackles universal issues with unabashed perspective. This book addresses violence, rape, patriarchy, racism at same time talks about love, attachment, relationship, religion spirituality and much more.
Tapan Ghosh approaches these hard hitting topics with unbaised honesty and sincerity, making us delve deep into thoughts.

There's were many moments when I just had to closed the book to process and understand, what I read I highlighted most of the book, I applaud the author for writing about ugly topics head on that most people run from.
It's not a comfortable read, it summons rage, exhaustion, devastation and meant to start conversations!
The writing is distinctly profound, it's real raw and painful yet healing, the author tackled painful uncomfortable subjects gracefully. I absolutely love the book and I whole heartedly recommended this book to everyone!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 For this book that's unlike anything I have ever read.

This is an Anthology of short stories or rather experiences from the author's life. It covers various themes such as love, destiny, death, motivation etc to name a few. Written in a simple language, with a good writing style the book is beginner friendly.

The book talks about the importance of understanding and analyzing the reason before doing something rather than following others blindly. The Author has narrated his experiences in an interesting way, in this short read and has tried to convey a message in each story for the reader to take along.

There are some questions that are answered and some answers that need to be questioned.
Overall an interesting thought provoking read...

“Reaching great heights is not half as tough as coming down in life with your sanity intact.”

Life is all about the amalgamation of good and bad experiences. And all these experiences add value to our personalities and build our characters. Success makes us merrier and failure makes us ponder upon it. “Thinking out loud: Keeping nothing behind” is an account of author Tapan Ghosh’s joyous, crazy, coincidental, and melancholic experiences that offer life lessons to readers with a philosophical touch.

With 29 chapters on different social, mythological, religious, philosophical, and innovative themes, the author presents to us some facts, opinions, and learnings. Some chapters are written in plain non-fiction style while some are in the form of dialogues between two characters: Harry and Kush. These two characters and their conversation hit readers’ rational and intellectual chords and make them think about some serious social issues. There are some poems also that just enhance the beauty of this collection.

I love this book because the author has touched on issues like rape, the triple talaq bill, the legalization of prostitution, religion, faith, and love. I couldn't agree more with every sentence author has written here because that’s the rational way of thinking in the 21st century. By providing such thoughtful musings on important topics, the author has tried to spread awareness about them.

With eloquent language that reflects the author’s expertise in writing, the author shares his personal experiences, thoughts, and musings to readers and provokes us to think subtly and thereby leaving a long-lasting impact on readers. You should give it a read. This book undoubtedly will make you think loud.

Thinking Out Loud'- Keeping Nothing Behind by Tapan Ghosh is a short read that beautifully accounts facet of life experiences, keenly observed directly experienced by him.
The title is aptly chosen, as the book not only meant to read rather that broaden you thinking horizon.

Out of 29 chapters particularly - You are nobody, is the first one that impacted my understanding on spirituality. All problems , whatever it may be have a solution that can be answered by by our inner self, which the author refered as nobody.

To make your life purposeful, we have to learn to make our mind purposeless , which is a authentic pragmatic lesson for 21st century mindset so as to balance our individual growth and social growth in respect to rapidly changing world.

I got to learn a lot from the dialogue exchange between Harry and Arjun that themed around discussing faith and religion.
Nextly the author attempted to conclude that robot can conquer our faith , but neither man nor can machine replace its creator , that he reflected through the communication between Harry and Kush.

In the chapters , Of monkey and man and Dog can smell a rat , Ghosh innovates new values over the old ones which are quite interesting. Finally in last chapters he shared a lot about his experience as to actor, acting skill, script writing , editing and much more with a new vision.
Any one who is a true seeker of God, love, humanity and self growth can pick this book to reflect upon oneself and our understanding to the same .
Language used by the author is kept simple.
Narration was well to go and interesting that will help you enjoy the book without pause .
But I will personally suggest not to hurry with this one.
Book like this can be re - read in near future, looking forward to read more by the author.

"Life is a sail boat, ride and wind the destiny. But dammit, you are the sailor"

Book: Thinking out loud, keeping nothing behind

Author: Tapan Ghosh

Book Description: Life is nothing but a bag full of simple joys, some instances of surprise, few coincidences of craziness, and some days of melancholy often sheathed as destiny or suffering.

Thinking Out Loud is a beauteous conglomeration of various aspects of life, put together with a hint of philosophical perception by renowned author Tapan Ghosh. It is the affiliation that the readers will find in author’s understanding of varied facets of life in this book, which makes it an ideal choice to learn the art of positive response even in challenging situations. With many of his published books in fiction and non-fiction genre, Thinking Out Loud stands apart with its completely unique approach towards life and beauty with which the author connects with his readers.

Review: The book is about little joys of life, how to appreciate those in life. Author conveys his message via twenty six stories written in lucid language, thinking about it, this book has a powerful message in itself and a person doesn't regret reading it. I was reading classics and high fantasies past few months but this quite certainly made me take a short break being a light weight read.

I finished it a weekend since it was so short, under hundred pages I guess. Talking about the cover, it could've been prettier but, you can't judge a book by it's cover! It's amazing. The title was catchy and the blurb was enough to make you pick up this one. In short, it was a spectacular read for me. Brownie points for the stories for taking place in India. Kind of reminded me of Tagore.

If you have read this, you should try The alchemist or vice-versa.

A collection of several fictional and non - fictional writeups covering a range of topics.

Title: Thinking Out Loud
Author: Tapan Ghosh
Pages: 89

Thinking Out Loud book is a collection of several fictional stories and non-fictional writings giving the author's view on several topics.
It draws from the author's understanding and life experiences.

The topics include from religion, faith, identity, societal taboos of sex and desires, extra- marital relationships, influence of west, and several issues in news like drugs, rapes, women empowerment bills etc. Selected topics show relevance to issues we are facing at personal levels and in the society at large today. It is by no means an all-inclusive book on all personal and societal issues. Also, some topics weren't interesting as the several others.

I found the opinions reasonable to some outright controversial. The writing is simple and easy to understand. I found them a reflective, knowledgeable piece of critical work at large but some opinions were too bold and disagreeable especially that of old men having hots for their own daughter-in-law or a relationship of masseuse and her male client satisfying their sexual desires through her work. Though it's right to be non-judgmental of a person's way of living and desires, but moral and ethics are still a way to guide to correct thinking and behaviors and do not always intend to take away the freedom of an individual. Thus we need to be careful that being bold doesn't perpetuate the wrong.

A good read. I would recommend it to people who like to know of honest, critical, reflective and bold opinions on several relevant topics by the author. A kind of mix of acceptable and controversial perspectives. If you are open to the two, then do give it a read.

Thinking Out Loud by Tapan Ghosh is one such collection of memories and thoughts on various subject matters that are insightful and also thought provoking.

With 29 chapters, we could come across the topics of faith and religion, astrology, mythology, love, technology and some inspirational articles written in the form of poetries, comments, essays, stories and dramas.
.
This is my second book from the same author. The first one being the collection of quotes which were truly impactful. It was astounding to note that the author has a vast knowledge on wide range of subjects, and thus reading them felt like the words of wisdom directly delivered by a scholar. I loved how the author has delivered his profound thoughts through his articulated stories- be a fiction or a non- fiction. The stories dated back to as old as few decades when the author was just a kid and going through his life experiences indeed felt like an optimistic read. The language was made as simple as it can be absorbed by varied age group readers. The fonts were reader friendly and I quite appreciated that. It was a relief to read comfortably throughout the book.

Life is nothing but a few instances of surprises, ugly cry, and a bagful of crazy moments. The origin of this book took place in one of such instances when the author was feeling thoughtful while glancing in his bittersweet thread of memories. Hence mixed with some personal short stories to poetries this book is ready to transport us all in our memory lane.

This book is divided into 29 little chapters. Sometimes we feel burdened by our responsibility, and this might lead to an anxiety attack. The author faced one such instance and in the face of death, he realized that he is nobody. Often our complicated thinking patter put more burdens on us, and the author shared his experience of freedom. Most of the mistakes in this world are done in the name of God. But humans truly sign up for salvation when they become a god-fearing men. Loving the God that resides within us will change a lot of things around us. And the author has shared his perception in the chapter ‘Mythology and Religion’. The author had also addressed sensitive topics in his book like ‘Rapist at large and ‘Triple Talaq’. The book also contains the essence of Bengal, describing little stories revolving around Park circus, Maidan; this book has my heart and soul at this point.

This book is a bagful of different stories; sometimes it is addressing some series of concerns while other times it is sharing giddy cozy stories. The writing of this book is gifted with rich vocabulary. I would like to offer my thanks to the author for crafting this wonderful read.

The more self-help books I read the more I feel it’s less as we can never get enough of life lessons yeah! So I picked up this book as the title caught my eyes and mind and I am grateful for this decision.

Life is uneven; none gets it perfect even though they try their best to put their shit together. It’s also true that we can’t learn life from some chapters of a book but when the book is showing the insights of practically occurred incidents, we can surely take lessons from that. Love, sex, religion, conviction, logic everything is spoken in the chapters from the author’s own or seen experiences. The best thing is every lesson comes from an actual deed of a person so readers will surely be finding it relatable.

Not all of us think and execute accordingly as we face several social constructs. Sometimes we want to emancipate our unnecessary boundaries but just can’t make it. This book will provide us with strength by teaching us the importance of the thoughts we have. Superstitions and other social iniquities have been tried to be mended in confounding ways here. The author has this perplexing capability with words to make his narrative other-worldly. As he speaks it feels like being connected to my soul and this has made the book a literal five-star and beyond. Self-help can be performed only by oneself but guidance has never done wrong to anyone. And when we can opt for a book like this I think all of us should clutch this chance; I hope it goes well for you guys too.

‘Thinking Out Loud - Keeping Nothing Behind’ Written by Tapan ghosh it’s a fictional story actually it’s a combination of different mini stories.

This book has many emotions like love, happiness and sad sexual abuse and many more sensible elements which make this story meaningful it’s actually a combination of 29 mini topics I say.

The author had addressed many issues those makes us to thing about… there was no lag, no confusion in this book author has a very clear thought process in writing this book. Excellent write.

Usually some books will teach us many things in our life this book will come under that category. Narration was too good never get bored to read this book. And it took 3 hours’ time to finish a great and wonderful read moreover, will end up learning things.

The way author narrates this, was simply awesome it’s a conversation of two people. The way he talked about rapes was relatable today’s society. I was so impressed.

Total book has many topics and the message conveys us through two people conversation that actually make sense. Instead of writing paragraphs and lengthy information author has got a nice idea of creating. “Harry, and Kush”

Simple and so elegant few sentences will take us another world especially this line is still rotating in my brain even now. “How can our existence, be a delusion” In-depth thinking in simple language everybody can understand.

Wonderful read highly recommended.

Book deserves 5/5

Book Title: Thinking Out Loud - Keeping Nothing Behind
Author: Tapan Ghosh
Format: Paperback

My Thoughts:
This is my third book of Tapan Ghosh, and every time his writing excites and surprises me. It takes lots of guts and patience to pinpoint and educate people and society on specific issues and practices. Tapan Ghosh as an author, has never backed to initiate and talk aloud the unsaid things. His way of thinking and articulating them in his books is ever appreciating.

This book titled, Thinking Out Loud - Keeping Nothing Behind showcases many facets of life that are rather muted and unheard due to societal pressures and egoistic attitudes. The book is an ala-carte to the readers with a collection of short stories that oscillate between love, life, spirituality, sex, taboos, friendship, relations, emotions, art, science, God, and many more!

The narration, grammar and vocabulary are well maintained and followed. The book can be recommended to those readers who are ready to accept the dark reality of life in a book format. The cover page is strong and well designed. The light brownish \ muddy feel sets the feel of the book. A little care on page indentation and paragraph alignment would have made the book more appealing. Else, with straightforward language, the book is a good read.

The stories Holy Cow and Understanding Attachment are my favourites. These stories' content, intent, and conversations are pretty attractive and entertaining.

• “I suppose there are a lot of reasons to be jaded or sarcastic or bitter in life, but I hang on to the reasons why life is beautiful”.

• The length of the book remains to be 100 pages and the overall theme of the book revolves around having an understanding of life as it’s a journey where one must persevere through thick and thin and must storm forth with consistency and the same is well reflected in the book at hand with a tinge of philosophy as well. Having further divided into 29 chapters, the first one is titled “You are a Nobody” which features an entity which resides subconsciously in the mind of the author and he has made various attempts to get rid of him but to no avail and finally he had to surrender to that Nobody when the situation was that of life and death. The next chapter is titled “MYTHOLOGY AND RELIGION” where the author in an extremely apt fashion speaks of the ills that go along with the aspects of Mythology and Religion as what was intended to unite is currently used to disintegrate. As the reader goes further into the book, he/she can see that each of the chapter remains to be not of big length but succinct in nature and also laced with poignancy at the same time.

• The writing style has also been kept simple and fluid and thus making it a comprehensible read which is easy to relate as the contents verily resonate with the mind of the readers thereby making this book a must read for someone willing to have a perspective in life.

As the title of the books suggests, ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Tapan Ghosh is an uniquely inspiring collection by the author that does not pertain to one single theme or topic but rather is based upon a multitude variety of different aspects of life.

Through the eyes of the author, we see the beauty of the world, his first thoughts as he awakes each day, his opinions about some things that are not so pleasant, and his need to be thankful for the many blessings bestowed upon with the dawn of each new day.

In some cases, this philosophical pondering dealt with the ideas and thoughts in a direct way, while sometimes, it contained actual making a way for looking at the world, which resulted in embodying implicit and explicit viewpoint.

There are some books which stay with you for a long time, and this one was a classic example of the same which will make you want to come back and read it over and over again.

I loved and immensely enjoyed reading this book. It was interesting enough and surely has the ability to both grab and hold the attention of all those who read it as they take a peek into the mind of this talented author.

The book will absolutely make us build new power and start looking at things with determination, all the while helping to develop and assume a control over all our circumstances, whether they are positive or not. Hence I am going to give this book FIVE THINKING STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THINKING OUT LOUD- Keeping Nothing Behind by Tapan Ghosh is worth the read. I have read many books in fiction and non - fiction genre. But I must say, this book stand apart for it's practical content, some terrific stories and easy read.

This one book is an amalgamation of thoughts, approach and experiences of individuals based on multiple aspects of life like life, love, soul, health, sex, astrology, religion, faith, science and innovation and it's consequences, superstition, social evils, social reforms and much more. Some of the points from the book which I liked the most are:
✨True man of God is one
who keeps himself
physically, mentally,
emotionally and spiritually
healthy.
✨ Coincidence is beyond
logical explanation and
understood only by the
illogical part of the mind
called Heart.
✨ Life is a sail boat ride
and wind, the destiny.
But dammit, you are the
sailor!

The appealing title of the book is the key factor behind choosing this book. The book is a short read. The stories narrated in the book and the place where it took place is all mentioned in book to make the read more relatable and engaging. For instance, the one story which depicts Goa caught my attention as I hail from Goa.

It was an indulging read for me. I look forward to read more of your collections.
