Testing the Edge: Book One - Wings

Rate this book
From adolescent to adult the book follows the author through a life passage from runaway teen from Canada who enlists in the Marine Corps' as a private, goes through flight school, becomes a fighter pilot and retires after twenty years as a Lieutenant Colonel. The author describes a life transformation through two marriages, two tours in Vietnam, the moral and spiritual restructuring through alcoholism into recovery and a deeper level of consciousness. Although the life passage is serious and describes actual events, it is charged throughout with fictional adornment, sometimes humorous and often brutally realistic. It contains adult language and situations and is meant for adults young and old who are interested in spiritual transformations through the cauldron of life experiences.

Book One takes the reader through the first years in the Marine Corps in boot camp, through flight school until the author receives his wings
