Okay, but disjointed
This men's daily devotional, a collection of snippets from several of Arterburn's other books, is good for men seeking a closer relationship with God. The readings focus on relying on God to find a sense of peace and balance in a man's spiritual, sexual, and familial life. These readings are good, but the drawback is that they don't always flow from one to the next. As they're pulled from a number of Arterburn's books, the readings' intended audience often varies (young men, single men, married men, etc.). Some readings include a supporting Bible verse, but most do not. I did appreciate that one or two readings a month consisted of a prayer instead of an excerpt. This helped to break things up, and in some cases did serve to tie together the disparate readings, but this result was not consistent.
