Maggie and Pie and the Big Breakfast is like an updated & more attainable Amelia Bedelia! There are puzzles to solve, a recipe in back, & lots of double-meaning ideas that will have students giggling as they help Maggie fix these homonym mix-ups!

A fun concept combining reading and puzzles. Kids are sure enjoy following the clues from the text to find the correct ingredients to make the big breakfast.

Another fun and funny story in the series. Love the puzzles and the humor. Makes learning to read super-fun.

I felt the text made it look like Maggie was less intelligent and Pie put up with it. Almost like she takes things literally, like Amelia Bedelia, but with a more insulting than amusing tone. The look and find pages for the ingredients and recipe are cute but as a whole I wouldn't read it again.
