sentenced and put to death by his own people, resurrected in three days to prove His Lordship. He entered this world an Emmanuel (God with us), and left as Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah).

This book is such a sweet, calm precious advent reading. It is simple and a great advent activity to do with your family. There are songs and recipes after every couple readings. The presentation of the book is so beautiful. I have been wanting to get an advent reading for this year and when I saw Jennifer's book, I knew this was it. I know Jennifer personally and her heart is absolutely a heart for Jesus. Her tender heart and love for Him shows through this devotion. I am buying one for several young families in our church. It would be a great gift to give as an (intentional) random act of kindness.

I love the simplicity and rich biblical truth contained in this family-oriented advent study. Each day includes a Bible verse, devotional, and prayer. Every few days, you get to try a new holiday recipe (the Make-Ahead French Toast Casserole looks amazing!). My favorite part was the fact that the author included Scripture references to go along with familiar Christmas songs throughout the study. I think this would be an excellent resource for parents with elementary-aged children all the way through high school. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Advent season with your loved ones!

Loved this book.

I enjoyed this novel by Janet Dailey. I've loved all of Janet Dailey novels. I prefer her novels over Nora Robert's. I read "Montana Sky" by Nora Roberts, which I felt was far too graphic and dark and turned me off reading more of her books. I will be reading more Janet Dailey in the future. In "The Ivory Cane," Janet did a great job of pointing out that blind people can do many things that seeing people can do and still have a productive and happy life. They just have to do some things a little differently.
