Stuck Duck has done it again!
If you’re looking for a funny early reader book with adorable yet simple illustrations and rich vocabulary, you need “Stuck Duck”! As an elementary school teacher and mother, I have found some early readers to be too simple and not engaging enough. This book (2nd in the series) encourages reading with the perfect amount of text and picture on each page. The font is also child friendly. As a bonus, there are a bunch of literacy activities to go with the book that are print ready for you to use!

Interesting Story
I personally liked how the story is written and how it caught the attention of the reader. There was a lot of suspens from the moment the story began until the end. I loved how the story had a happy ending and it can teach children that sometimes they can get stuck in life but there will always be friends to help them out. The last pages of the book were the icing on the cake. Check it out!

My girls and I adored the first book in this series, Stuck Duck. This second one however, is even better than the first! Beyond cute! The story and rhyme are perfect, and the characters are beautifully illustrated. We...that's 4 of us, lol the girls are reminding me give this a total of 20 stars!!! Definitely recommend this series and author!!

Wonderful beginning reader that kids will love!
This is such a cute story with fun characters. Children and adults will love this simple story. It is easy to read for beginning readers, but it still has a full, fun story! I love that it also includes reading activity pages at the end!

Must have for early readers !
My four year old son and I absolutely love Stuck Duck! Periwinkle is an adorable addition in characters. Not only is the story entertaining but as a teacher, I love the extra literacy sheets in the back for more practice. This book will forever have a spot on my sons bookshelf and my classroom’s.

Perfect rhyme and fun suspense
My kids and I were full of suspense wondering if stuck duck would ever be freed. They couldn’t wait to see what happened and who came to help next. The perfect rhyme made for a fun read with a cute story that is sure to be a favorite in our house soon.

Gorgeous book!
Oh how lovely is this book! Poor duck finds himself with a trumpet stuck on his head, how on earth will he get it off? This book has gorgeous illustrations and perfect rhyming. My kids and I have already read it three times :)

Cuteness overload!
I fell in love with the cute little duck in Stuck Duck and now with the adorable Periwinkle Smith! Love the name!! This book is going to be a hit with the little ones. The literacy pages at the end are a bonus! The illustrations are so adorable!

Delightful Read and Sweet Rhyme
Loved this story of the stuck duck and all his friends who try to help him along the way. Highly recommend. My toddler was wildly entertained throughout. Looking forward to the next book from this pair!

Great book for young readers
My niece read this book and she absolutely loved it! She learned new words and recognized words she learned in school! I would recommend this book to any parent with a beginner reader.

Loved reading this with my 4-year old who is just starting to read. The book has a perfect cadence, and the illustrations are lovely. We especially had fun with the activities.

Super cute and fun rhyming book
This is such an adorable book about a poor little duck that gets an instrument stuck on his head and tries to get help to get it out. The rhymes are great. Children will love the duck and feel for him. The illustrations are adorable.
