Just finished this book, well the 19th edition, but can't find it on here. Anyways, as for the 19th edition I really appreciate how up to date it is. I also liked the inclusion of research into it, because I liked it having it on the book rather than needing to do the search myself. However, as a grad student who has lots of readings to do, sometimes I did wish the chapters were a bit shorter. It took me a long time to read to each chapter, without taking notes, just highlighting. As for the content itself. It's not my first time reading a book focused on human development, so some of the information I already knew. But there was still a lot of new information, and updated information as well. I read this for my human development class, and I'm hoping it'll be good as I prepare for the NCE as well. So I'll probably go back to beginning chapters again for refreshers on theory of the gazillion theorist we have in the human development field. But yeah, if this is a topic you like, or if you're taking this for a class, or preparing for the NCE it will serve its purpose for sure.
