I might be a bit biased as one of the co-authors, but it's a good overall book, that does not focus only on the language features, it explores the overall world of development through the prism of TypeScript.

Quite a lot of modern web-development practices are covered in depth, so that the reader can get an understanding not only of how to use TypeScript, but how to use TypeScript to provide a scalable and maintainable overall architecture.
