The Darkness Behind

In a bleak, violent future, Caleb Geko's girl runs off with a gangster, and Caleb earns the gangster's ire for trying to win her back. The next thing Caleb knows, most of his memory is gone and a bomb has been planted in his head. The bomb is a "gift" for one of the gangster's enemies, and Caleb is told that if he can deliver it, he stands a chance of getting back his past. But when the bomb also destroys the device storing Caleb's memories, he takes events into his own hands, serving up murder and revenge in the name of a woman he no longer remembers...

Came with a main character postcard

This is so 1990. It's a mix of that era's alterna-style -> autre-style hair and fashion steeped in the brand of dystopian future that those cynics projected.

I only liked it as a period piece (of sorts) but I had to respect the quality, if not the style, of the art. The plot and characters all had very workable pieces strewn throughout but the coalesced horribly in a disaster of a story.

The fact that a (loose) postcard was shockingly still in my copy all these years later shows an obvious lack of interest of the owners.
