This is the collection of the four-book series, Cats of the Afterlife. When I was between writing projects, my calico cat unexpectedly died, and soon after, I started this series. I wasn't sure how life was going to be without her. She had sat beside me through writing practice every day, and I couldn't imagine being a writer with her no longer there. So I decided to create a series where she starred, imagining her crazy, mixed-up world in the afterlife, hoping that as she began to recognize why she was there, I could accept it, too. To my surprise, this made-up world became populated with other cats I'd known, cats that had lived with my husband before we were married, cats that had lived in my home as a single person, and cats that we had known together. These are very special stories to me, and I hope you will enjoy reading them.
