When he strikes gold, Cain Parker is faced with a bout of bad luck in the form of relentless wagon attacks and turns for help to his friend Skye Fargo, who discovers that there is a traitor in Parker's midst--his own son. Original.
I enjoyed the fact that not everyone got a happy ever after. I would have perfected more information on the area where the mines were located, a better description of the town's and cities, and some explanations for the character actions. This is an ok novel. But it's not the kind that prevents you from starting the next book on your list after reading the last sentence in the book.
