My goal was to learn about RFK without having to read an 800 page book on him. Plus I saw this for free at a library sale. The danger is that in a book designed for maybe schoolkids, you basically get a sanitized version, approved by the Kennedys of what Bobby was all about. There was one or two places where they questioned his commitment to civil rights or his personality, but overall it was a whitewash. And maybe that's ok - kids should maybe learn that tehir heroes were great guys and then figure out later that they were flawed. So three stars. But I learned some stuff.

I learned more about Bobby Kennedy - he truly cared about the poor and disenfranchised in our country and really did more than President Kennedy in the civil rights movement of the early 60's. I believe our country truly lost a person who would have made a profound difference in our lives if he had become president.
