About the author

Claudie-Sandrine Pernusch is a French writer who grew up in Angoulême and Bordeaux before settling in Paris.
Writing under the name Sandrine Pernusch, she has authored numerous children's and young adult novels, many of which have been translated into multiple languages, including Mon je-me-parle, Faustine et le souvenir, and Un Fantôme en Classe Verte.
She later turned to adult literature, publishing four novels: Le Destin de madame Picmol (2006), Le Cartable à musique (2009), Une visite surprise (2013) and L’Inattendu (2016).
In addition to novels, she has written short stories, plays, and fairy tales.
