Hens, Halloween and homicides in a cozy slice of paradise.
Tricks and treats abound as Saffron prepares a haunted house to host a Halloween party to die for.
When somebody ends up dead in the old house, Saffron is on the case. Was it a freaky accident or a premeditated murder?
With ghosts, ghouls, and monsters both human and otherwise, Saffron’s sleuthing will take her on haunted paths through Maika’i’s supernatural side! Will she and her hen, Tikka, be able to solve the mystery before Halloween horrors befall them all?
I love this series. Glad to see that Tikka got to step up in this one. Appreciated that there were lots of Manu and Slate and especially a certain someone else. A new book in this series always makes me feel like I’m visiting with a friend and catching up. Leaves me with a happy feeling and looking forward to our next meeting. I’ve already started the next book in the series.
This book in the series is more shallow than the others. Saffron didn’t use her color powers much. Ending ties up quick and neat. Maybe too quick and neat. But fun Hawaiian read.
Who killed Burton Ekker and why??? He got what he planned, didn’t he??? Be careful with your paperwork!!!! I enjoyed this story and recommend the book.
