I’ve been obsessed with US history, specifically that of the PNW, for my whole life and this was such a good quick glimpse into the foundations of the early settlements here. It’s so fascinating to imagine how these people got over here from the other side of the country and now I have to go look up everyone that was mentioned and learn about their personal histories. I’m especially interested in historic native culture and how that was specifically impacted by white settlements so if anyone has any recommendations for books or documentaries lmk
