Past trauma has caused her to be cautious of men and for that very reason, she decides not to tell Ross that she has a child just yet. *** This book should be read in this order: Pretty Caged Bird, Tame Me, With Everything In Me***

Grab your tissues and wine because, you’re going to need them. This book was…. Whew! This book was emotional. The backstory for Paisley and Ross was heartbreaking. That damn Kelly did him so dirty. How you gon’ cheat and steal and think you’re suppose to be forgiven just because you apologized?!!! Then, to add insult to injury, Kelly gets knocked up and doesn’t know who her baby daddy is. Yeah, that heffa was out there bad. Poor Paisley was dealt the worst hand in life. The things she’s endured would have most of us wearing a strait jacket but, she managed to push through and remain standing for her baby girl. When Paisley and Ross cross paths, neither one realizes they are exactly what the other needs. Both are low on trust but, Ross has an instant connection to Paisley he feels compelled to explore. When he’s finally able to get her to start trusting him enough to spend time with him, Ross and Paisly start kickin’ it strong. Then, here comes Kelly with her shyt. Once paternity is established, this heffa became a to a straight menace to Ross and Paisley. When she realizes he really has moved on, Kelly loses her mind. But, that’s okay because Paisley was more than happy to help her find it. She let Kelly know, what you won’t do is talk out the side of your mouth about my baby and you can still get these hand even if you are pregnant. Ironically, it was Jamir who stepped in and put an end to the nightmare known as Kelly. Apparently, he’s the only one she’ll actually listen to. I have to say, I was more than a little annoyed at how quickly everyone forgave Kelly when she finally apologized for her behavior. After everything she did, all is forgiven with a simple “I’m sorry?!!!” That really pissed me off. I was giving Paisley a strong side eye when she hugged Kelly. With Everything In Me was a phenomenal read. It’s filled with a myriad of emotions that will leave you drained but, it’s so worth it.
Ross was definitely a thot in the first two books of this series…then he met someone he thought he could share his life with only to be let down…the. He met the new lady in town Paisley…Paisley was definitely a type of female for Ross, she was independent and didn’t want just sex from him…Ross had to earn her trust…the two of them really made for a cute couple, I wish the story would’ve included more interaction between Ross & Harmony…we were told of their developing relationship more than shown. Overall, this was another winner for me.
It’s the growth for me!!! What an amazing journey this series took us through. We were first introduced to Ross in “Pretty Caged Bird” and he was the typical playboy that wasn’t ready to settle down. Over the years and throughout this series we saw him go from one nighting chicks to settling down with who he thought would be his forever. After experience heartbreak and betrayal at the hands of Kelly, my dude was going through it! I loved that KB allowed us to witness his vulnerability and him expressing feelings of hurt as a result of what Kelly did. Navigating through his newly single life, he bumps into a beautiful mystery known as Paisley. Paisley had her own demons that she was dealing with. She had an extremely traumatic life from childhood on and despite life coming at her in every direction she found a reason to live and fight for better. These two were so amazing together. The patience and care Ross took with Paisley was everything! They were both fragile for different reasons but willing to relinquish apprehension and give their love a fighting chance. I LOVED how the crew embraced Paisley and Harmony! They really welcomed them with open arms. Amina and Julissa were something else and I loved them in this series! Jamir was a simp 😩 ain’t no way he should’ve let Ross keep son’n him every time they crossed paths. Kelly had all the audacity with how she behaved. I’m not falling for that reconciliation at all. Yes it was needed to move forward but the petty in me wanted to hate her forever. She got off way too easy after the drama she caused. This was a really great series! I loved all of the couples and I honestly can’t pick a favorite! KB continues to prove why she’s one of the best to ever do it!
I enjoyed the heck out of this book. I was hooked from page one. I freaking LOVED Paisley. Life delt her a rough one, but she refused to go out like that. Especially with her daughter. Ross was this sweet soul, mending a broken heart, but the moment he met Paisley, it was over for him. They moved soo fast. I was a little worried with how fast things were going. But, the author worked it beautifully, even the little drama. Nicely done. This book was DRENCHED in love. Even the supporting characters were disgustingly in love. I loved it!! Then there's Kelly 🙄🙄. The audacity, the fkng nerve. She had it too easy imo, cause sis did a lot of talking while pregnant. Coward move. Anyways, let me tell you, Ms Brown knows how to write a sex scene because those scenes were mfkng outrageous. Shït was detailed and vivid AF. Highly recommend this book
Queen Kimberly just keeps getting better and better and she ain't playing no games when it comes to these releases. I loved Ross and Pais story, the good and the bad, I so wanted Kelly to disappear, lol. I loved that their story was focused on them but at the same time it gaves us a follow-up for Gray & Amina and Cody & Jalissa and they're families❤. Whew Chil where to begin? Paisley got felt the worst effing hand, but she didn't let that ruin her our make her bitter. Through her trauma she received her biggest blessing, her daughter. When she finally told her story, she had me crying. Then she meets Ross and he just wants to there in a way no one else has ever been. I was kinda made she waited so long to tell him about her daughter until the accident. I was thankful he had a group of friends who talked to him and got him to at least stay around to hear her out. The way he took to her daughter, loved on her like she came from him, who couldn't love a man like that. Ross was an amazing flawed man. When he was getting it in in the beginning of the book and Kelly bust in his room and he kept going😳🤦🏾🤣. I hollered when I read that part and I felt bad until he explained the situation. When he broke down😢, I'm like he just trying to eff away the pain but that ain't gonna work. I'm glad his dad talked to him cause he was being reckless. That dang Kelly was the typical bitter ex who screwed up and then wanna blame everybody but the person responsible, herself. The things she texted to Paisley, then the things she said when they went to her house😡. She was blessed that she was pregnant cause she would've gotten more than slapped. It's sad that it took Jamir expressing his love for her and checking her about how reckless she had been with her mouth and her actions, for her to realize she was to blame, period. In the end the were all able to find a happy medium and be one big extended family without the drama❤.
I loved this story. Ross the playboy has finally found the love he deserved. Although he thought Kelly was the one, god had other plans for his broken heart. Paisley, her life changed in an instant but she wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world because with it came her beautiful daughter Harmony. Ross and Paisley were destined to meet and it became the greatest union. I loved how Ross took the time to get to know Paisley and once he found out about Harmony he treated her like she was his own. This was a beautiful story that will make you laugh and cry while finding your soul mate and creating family.
This book was beautiful. I loved the relationship with Ross and Paisley. I also loved how Kelly was able to repent for that she did and truly apologize. I like the drama in this book. This was my favorite book out the series!
I didn’t know how I would feel about Ross finding love, especially when I saw how the story started. But I think he’s my favorite. The way he loved Paisley and Harmony was admirable. Kelly could have caught this anointing because she was on my last nerve! 😆 I loved the way everyone embraced Paisley and how she was able to overcome so much. She deserved that HEA! Beautiful story!
Loved Ross and Paisley. Felt sorry for Ross the way his ex, Kelly, cheated on him and gave that dude his money. Meeting Paisley and her daughter was a lifesaver for him. Kelly was wrong for the things she said about Paisley and her daughter. Paisley handled it. (That 👋). Beautiful story.
My heart broke for Ross upon learning of Kelly’s betrayal! I loved the vulnerability he showed, as men are often portrayed as unfeeling; and Ross put it all out there! Paisley was dealt the worst hand in life already, but then to have THAT happen to her, was devastating! 💔🤬 But she is a warrior and took care of business, as a real woman should. Ross and Paisley meeting in line was simple enough, but Ross felt an intense connection to her that he wanted to explore. Paisley was not having it! I was happy when Paisley finally let her guard down a bit, and allowed Ross some of her time. They quickly became friends and talked often. I held my breath as I knew there would be a blowup, if Paisley didn’t tell Ross soon about what was at home. When the accident happened, cooler heads prevailed and Ross didn’t lose it as I thought he would. But he did step right on up and showed her the man he was! Little Miss Harmony was just the sweetest, and the bond that she formed with Ross was so adorable. Then here comes Kelly with her ish! She had lost her entire mind! But Paisley was gone help her find it! She does not play about her baby, and was ready to give her some act right! Can I just say that I was disappointed to find out Ross was the father? I hoped that he could just walk away from this woman! Sooooo Jamir really surprised me! However, I was happy that he sat Kelly down and told her about herself. That seemed to be the only thing that put her back on the right path. I think she finally realized that Jamir was her “one” the entire time, and that Ross was not meant to be her future. Enjoyed this story. Glad to see all the couples happy and thriving with their families. Great job! 👍👍👍
Well Mrs. Brown is continuing down the road of greatness, she has brought some more 🔥. This book was well anticipated because I really wanted to see Ross find the love of his life as well as his "brothers." It wasn't short of any major speed bumps and drama though. Kelly, his ex did a total 180 she went from the loving, doting favorite "aunt" to a straight menace to Ross's life. It was ironic because the whole time Ross was going through with Kelly I was low key praying. I was praying that he wasn't the father. I had a feeling Kelly would act a fool because her heart was still with Ross. She became cra-cra and stupidly decided to meddle with Paisley. When Paisley went to inform Kelly just who she were, a thought popped in my head. The saying that, "you don't mess with a woman's children or money" hold true in this scene. Kelly learned quickly to keep Harmony's name out of her mouth. I want to give Kelly some "act right" and pop five senses into her brain.
This is a magnificent read, Paisley and Ross deserved to be happy and whole. Paisley endured so much in her young life and Kelly took Ross through unnecessary stress. Little Miss Harmony was the icing on the cake she claimed and got her father. My favorite line in this book is when Ross said, "I’m her father." That line just touched my heart, he stood up for Paisley and Harmony without any thought of selfishness. He really was concerned about Harmony and knew Paisley would want an update. This book is well worth the read, get into it. It's a page turner plus the storyline is well executed. Download, purchase a copy and just indulge. You will be highly satisfied.
I really enjoyed getting to know Paisley and Ross. Although the backstory for each was heartbreaking, I admire how delicate the author brought you into each characters past without it being too much. I didn't care for Kelly, Ross ex, yet I like that she was included and you got to read her backstory and essentially why she did what she did. Doesn't make it right, just more understandable.
I loved the extended family and friendships as well. Everyone needs true friends like Julissa and Amina. Cody and Gray were cool too. The inclusion of all the kids was so refreshing to read about.
This was my first Kimberly Brown book, yet it will not be the last. Highly recommend this book. Great read.
What a beautiful story! I did not think I could love anyone more than Simeon! And then I met Ross!!! My goodness he is everything! I can't say everything I want to say, for fear of ruining the story with a spoiler but babbbbby! This story took a complete turn that I was NOT happy with...until I understood the why. My goodness this story was an incredible journey or heartache, love, forgiveness and resilience. I loved every bit of it. Even when I was cussing and fussing mad. It all made sense at the end. Very well written. Beautiful character development. Brilliantly shown how everything happens for a reason.
I love Ross he grew up and found the woman of his dreams for him to become the dad Harmony needed was beautiful I would have slapped Kelly ass to Cody said he knew Julissa was the ring leader he knows his wife. these three couples are amazing this was an amazing story ending I loved how they all clicked and gave Harmony and Paisley the family they needed Ross meeting Harmony the way he did was so special as they were all introduced she was so happy her mom made a lot of friends this was written to protection absolutely 💯 suggest reading all 3 of these books series
Woo this book!!!! Had me all in my feelings and stuff. That’s how I know a book is good and the author is 🔥! I felt all of the emotions the characters did - happiness, sad, hurt, disrespect, shock, joy, love, pissed, outrage, rage, I was even ready to pop the trunk too! I was engrossed in the book as if he was my man, she was my child, they were my family and they were my friends! They could’ve added me to the crew too! Let me tell you that chemistry between Paisley and Ross - wipe me down okay! Ross is my favorite out of Cody, Gray, and him. He handled her with care and I felt it. Truly enjoyed this book and all of the related books!
Awesome job K Brown, it was a nice read. through Ross and Paise. Right off the bat that Kelly was asking for a good ole fashion trip down through there. So glad to see the growth and bond stay together for the Parrish Porter family. Ross is the fun uncle and loves his nieces and nephews. Paisley is a welcomed addition and definitely allows us to see the softer side of Ross. I don't blame her for her choice to with hold information one bit. Glad that everyone got a chance to find love I. This friend group. Ready for the next series.
I read Kimberly Brown's Christmas story, Where Hearts Lie, and I have been hooked ever since! I am plowing my way through her catalogue and she is a force. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait for the latter installments but by the way she is turning out these wonderful stories, it doesn't seem I would have had to wait long any way! I love when spin offs give you updates on past characters without taking the focus off of the new story and current characters.
On one hand you want to say that Karma gave Ross a little of what he had been dishing out, but because he was always upfront about his intentions, we have to cut him some slack. He did not deserve what Kelly did to him at all. Kelly had the audacity to do all types of wrong and expected this man to give her a pass after she played with his heart and his money...tuh! I'm so glad Paisley listened to that voice inside and gave Ross a chance. She and Harmony were so deserving of everything Ross has to give (love, security, joy, and family) and Kelly knew she had fumbled in a major way.
Paisley and Ross. I loved them. I also loved Ross’s circle of friends. I loved them from the other books. Paisley was dealt a bad hand but she was one heck of a woman and mother and loved her child fiercely. Ross was a great guy and Kelly had to learn her lesson the hard way. Books that show the strength and wholeness of men being in touch emotionally are always winners in my book. Add to that romance and drama and you have a great read.
Not gon lie, I couldn’t stand this fool in the previous books, but I’m now a believer! The manwhore done growed up and this reader is quite pleased. I laughed, cried, and tingled reading this story.
Ms. Brown, you put ya foot in this one, although I think Kelly was due for more than a slap. Loved seeing Gray & Amina and Cody & Julissa and all the babies, and now Roswell has his own family😭❤️
Awesome Read, needed a little editing. Ross was a broken man the woman he thought was his future betrayed him. Paisley and her daughter had just moved to a new city where they were making a new life. Out shopping one day she meet Ross and as they say the rest is history. Kelly needed to be put in her place. So nice to catch up with the characters from the two previous books. Kudos to the author 👏👏👏👏👏
What a moving love story. Paisley had suffered so much loss, feeling unwanted and desired her very own family, she could taste it. Ross was heartbroken and felt used and abused by his five year lover who shamelessly cheated and stole from him to assist her incarcerated lover from her teenage years. Imagine the joy true love bought these two hurt and lost individuals. Love showed up and showed out, even the offspring benefited.
This will make you a true believer in finding the right love
This story will keep you faith in everyone deserving the right kind of love being a reality. Ross and Paisley were definitely a perfect match. I loved seeing her opening up and being open to love. That Kelly was something else but the level of maturity among everyone was something that we all should strive for.
This is my first book by this author and I will definitely look into her catalogue for more. I loved Paisley’s strength and perseverance and how she didn’t let her past swallow and consume her. Ross not only expressed his love verbally but physically as well and it was beautiful to see. They showed exactly how to love with everything in them.
I love a storyline that shows the emotions of the male characters and that's why I loved Ross, and his friends not to mention the lesson he learned from his dad it made his character one who could understand and love a woman like Paisley, and her daughter such an awesome story filled with everything from drama to love.
Ross was quite the ladies man throughout this series. He knew he wasn’t ready to settle down and enjoyed soaring his royal oats as he put it. He gives his heart to Kelly and she breaks it.
Then comes Paisley who isn’t looking to entertain him or any man for that matter. Her whole focus is being a mother to her daughter but something kept pulling these two towards each other “fate”.
Kelly was never Ross’ one she was simply a place holder. I couldn’t stand her and I was praying the baby wasn’t his so she could go away she was doing too much. She ruined her relationship with Ross and wanted to play victim, taking her anger out on the wrong people.
This one really gave me all the feels happy sad and mad. When Harmony calls Ross daddy for the first time whew I was done for. He was so good to that little girl and she deserved to have a father who loves her. I was mad that the girls pulled up on Kelly even tho I didn’t like her ass. She was pregnant and they were out of line. So happy that Paisley and Ross got their happily ever after. They both deserved the love each other gave.
This was a new to me author and boy did she do her thing! The storyline was so good! The writing was great some of the names were stated in the wrong spot but I understood. I'm glad Kelly got with the program .this was a cute love story!
