In Double, Volume three, we see that even though Takara Takarada is beginning to see his fortune— and fame rise, being able to act and navigating the media and the fans is like walking a tight rope, without a net below to catch if you miss a step and fall from theses dizzying heights! Exhilarating and exhausting in turns!

Good thing he has the support and attention of Aki, the beautiful idol, Yuuji and his agent, so even though the personalities of the characters consume even his voice, he’s able to keep moving forward and eventually have a breakthrough!

I didn’t enjoy this volume as much as the others, but it was still and interesting read and I’m looking forward to seeing Takara’s comeback in the next volume! I also hope we get to see more of Yuuji!

Yo tengo algo con que la cara de Takara cambie tanto en un mismo tomo, las del resto de los personajes son constantes, sé quiénes son, pero él siempre trae una cara distinta y no sé si eso es parte de la narrativa visual de los muchos cambios por los cuales está pasando (el aumento de su fama, sus interpretaciones y apariciones) o de plano a la mangaka no le sale igual este vato haha.

Como sea, este tomo estuvo muy flojo, tbh, lento y no tan interesante. Aunque sí vemos el peso que tiene Yuujin en la consciencia de Takara, que en serio es demasiada. Se muestra levemente que Yuujin ya quería poner distancia entre ambos y por eso le exaspera que le mencionen cuán unidos eran antes.

Volume 3 of really hits a turning point for Takara with his rose to fame and as he tries to figure out how to live independently from Yuujin. Up until now, their bond has been so tightly knit that Takara's identity feels almost entirely wrapped up in Yuujin. But in this volume, Takara starts to realize he needs to find his own footing and learn to stand apart from him. It’s a tough and emotional journey as he tries to break free from that dependency while still figuring out what his relationship with Yuujin really means. It’s a lot to take in, but it makes for such an interesting and emotional read as Takara grapples with love and self-discovery.

Jumping in to the third volume without having read the first two was a bit difficult at first. However the plot flows smoothly enough that its easy to catch on to most of whats going on.

I found the art style of the manga very unique and dynamic. The emotion and story is really laid out well with how the characters express themselves just in their facial expressions. The dialog is also really smooth and feels natural between the characters.

Overall this is a pretty interesting story!

Is it just me, or is this story insanely difficult to follow? I often feel like I'm reading pages out of order, or that conversations and plot threads are dropped and picked up completely at random. I understand that Takara has trouble separating roles from reality, and he also has the version of Yuujin in his head to guide him, but it's still a very confusing and disjointed read.
Some scenes and plot threads continue to drag me in though, so I'll finish the series.

I really enjoyed this volume because we got to see Yuji and Takara interact more than in the previous volume. Takara starts to really succeed, being paid more, being on social media and everything, which is very interesting to see. The development is still quite slow-paced but I really enjoyed this.

Plot flow is not hard to follow and I have not read the first two volumes. The emotions are pretty heavy and I could feel the characters emotion. Unique artstyle as well

The story was okay--its an continuation and it definitely picked up more towards the end and left off on a cliffhanger. Also, the art is very beautiful.
