The first shots in the Ruballian civil war have been fired. Nodes vital to the king, captured. Sieges commenced. Unseen forces operate in the shadows to meet their own objectives while the elven queen sits in a Brusarian prison.

Gemini Fowler is at the center of it all.

Torn between his duty to Priya Skyy, his foundation, and the elves, he’ll have to return to where his adventure began to seek the aid of a powerful ally in hopes of restoring that which is precious to him. Along the way, he and his band of rebels will do what they do best: cause havoc.

But nothing is at it seems in Enora, and before it’s over, Gemini will question his purpose, his place, and his entire existence in his new world.

The 9th installment in the epic Enora Online series by Arlo Adams promises new game mechanics, a thriving RTS environment, and a story filled with the epic pivots and twists Enora fans have come to love.

Too many loose ends…

While there were many aspects of this book that were awesome, there were a lot of loose threads. I don’t understand why Enora picked Priya after allowing and encouraging Gemini to form the bond with her that he had. Of it was just protection, Zhara and Enora certainly could have manipulated things differently. For all of Zhara’s talk of Enora having emotions, she seems to delight in excessive cruelty.

While the Brumhill scene was admittedly awesome, what was its purpose? What did the king/Sema look to gain from it? How long did they plan to employ the Three? Does Sema not know that she’s been outwitted and out-manned with every play she’s made against the East? Or is she so arrogant that she believes that she can hold back the inevitable backlash?

And what happens when the rebellion against the Luttrell’s continues as rebellion against the new regime, only with the largest school of magic being out of the new regime’s control?

Even better

I have a favorite place to eat. Every time I finish a meal, I always have the same thought, "They aren't going to be able to beat that." I think they enjoy proving new wrong. This series is the same. After I finish a book, I have to go in to the next. Why? Because there is no way they can beat the last. I've never enjoyed being so wrong, so often.

Not sure where this is going

The series is amazing but is getting weird and confusing. Rogue AI? I dunno its not clear and the MC doesn’t seem to really be advancing much. Maybe the next book will
Be better.

The MC, no matter how advanced or OP, is still a noob...he keeps coming up short against the AI...
