3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
=======================
I would not forgive him. He is very stupid and was easily manipulated by his agent.
All he had to do was sniff on her neck that she forgave and spread her legs for him. My friend, at least pretend you are not an easy lay.
But the authors write well and hook us into the story.

These Kindle Unlimited sports-related romances are killing me! A quarterback and a ballerina -- it sounded good. I needed a little easy-to-read treat after some long and emotional reads. Believe me, this one was off-the-charts out there is la-la-land. U N R E A L I S T I C!! Not just one lunatic ex, but two! And three sets of looney, but loving parents. It was definitely a wild ride to the end that was rushed, flat and fizzled to the last page. And since I'm letting it all out, I'm just gonna say -- that cover -- well, I don't recall a professional ballerina with that much up-top. Just sayin'!

I think it's time for me to find another long, emotional read with some substance. Any suggestions?

Anaya and Tate

Tate a football star meets Anaya after his coach makes him take dance classes. It's somewhat of a slow burn at first. Anaya ends up going on tour with a dance company so they split however they are suppose to be there for each other.

Valentina who is Tate's agent causes trouble. Keith who is Anaya's ex does something awful to her. Eventually years later they come back together and get their HEA!

This is different side of Glenna and Dawn. This story was very mild and different from their regular writing style. It was a nice change but I still prefer the other.

Formerly titled ‘The Boom’
The Quarterback and the Dancer

This involves a separation ... Tate and Amaya shared a connection but with the draft and her dance career on the rise, living on two separate coasts takes it’s toll on their relationship. Visiting Tate, he spends very little time with Amaya, more in training, when she is offered a career opportunity to tour with the dance company, she decides to accept.

Unbeknownst to her, this opportunity is contrived by Tate’s agent, Valentina and Valentina’s mother (the owner of the dance company), to separate the two.

He is convinced that Amaya is involved with one of the principal dancers and in a drunken stupor succumbs to Valentina’s advances. Valentina has been fixated on him since his first college game and has been biding her time for a year, as is later revealed. Each time he professed his love for Amaya, made her incredibly angry.

When Amaya is seriously injured and in the hospital, their friends contact him, but he’s with Valentina and barely coherent. Valentina, created drama with pregnancy and trying to convince the public that she and Tate were married.

Amaya was far too forgiving, grovelling and major amends was needed considering he slept with someone else during their time apart and she sabotaged their relationship, that intimacy belonged to Amaya.

Valentina was institutionalised after becoming unhinged by trying to break into their home when Amaya was pregnant and then again on the maternity ward claiming to be a family friend, violently protesting in her delusion that the baby should be hers.

Sacking the Player, formally titled The Boom, by Glenna Maynard and Dawn Martens was an absolutely fantastic read!!

“Bang!!” “I’m a goner and there’s no coming back. I want to go all in for this chick.”

Tate King the star quarterback meets Amaya Maxwell a ballerina in dance class.

“Bang!!” “She looks over at me through her long lashes wearing a curious grin. She’s still standoffish, but I can tell I’m wearing her down. She’ll be mine soon. I’ve got a plan.”

Tate and Amaya is all in until their professional dreams come true.

“I want you to stay.”

“Don’t want you to go. Don’t leave me, baby. Please, don’t ever leave me.”

The choice between your heart and life dreams is a challenging one. Will Tate and Amaya overcome those challenges?

I recommend this 5 star read by two of my favorite authors.

Tate and Amaya could be further from connected. He is the star football player and she is the spotlight of a ballet performer. When these two need to meet to help Tate’s career the moment their eyes come together “ BIG BANG” happens, that moment when you just know without a shadow of a doubt you are looking at your forever. Well that is what Tate feels now he just needs Amaya on board. With their lives going in to opposite directions how will this love withhold. When people are throwing themselves at you, people stalking you, and people only out for themselves. Will Tate and Amaya get the HEA we are all expecting....Well grab your copy and find out you will surely not be disappointed in the end. A perfect story of love heartache and disappointment, to overcome all to have each other and that FOREVER.

Okay first off, these two authors together! Get ready for heat, humor and a glorious story line! I love me an alpha bad boy story and this was the ultimate! I loved everything about these characters and their push and pull towards each other. The writing is fabulous and the plot development is great. I love the dialogue and cannot wait to read more from these two together!

Tate is our bad boy and he is exactly as you would expect from the blurb; king of campus, arrogant, attractive yet is missing something… I loved his transition from football player to recovering with dance. His lady love is his perfect match and ALL that implies! Check this story out if you are looking for great characters a fun story line and passion! I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Goodness This was a good book. Tate and Amaya’s story was not all sunshine and roses. Their journey was captivating, sometimes frustrating; but their final destination was beautiful. I enjoyed this book immensely.

0 of 5 Stars(Honestly don't waste your time AT ALL)

So I am about 82 percent through this book and can't finish it. It is so bad here are some things I didn't like about this book/problematic things.

1. The characters - for upperclassmen in college, everyone acted like high schoolers who had sex and took no responsibility for ANYTHING.
2. How the author treated the dancer - I say one review was annoyed that the FMC was large busted and a dancer, I am NOT mad about that (coming from a large busted dancer myself) but there was ONE line about it, there was no thought on HOW that impacts her as a dancer. If I am honest, it felt like the dance was there as an afterthought.
3. Putting down other women - One of the main plot points was the FMC got the lead in the recital and she and her best friend shit-talk the girl who also got the lead. Also SO MANY "Crazy" EXES (I know that phrase is problematic but it was used to bring down other women so fucking much.
4. TALK ABOUT BABY TRAPPING FROM THE MMC - I wanted to check my phone (I was reading the Kindle app on my phone), how is that fucking romantic?????
5. Privileged rich kids in college - how do both of these characters have parents who give them everything and they STILL bad mouth their parents so much. Not ONCE do they thank them.
6. No college dance studio or dance major is putting on Frozen as a ballet - why not any other popular ballet? Giselle, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, or Sleeping Beauty.

Overall this cluster fuck of a book was not at all well-researched or thought out at all, and reading it made me want to stab my eyeballs out.

Sacking The Player

These two are a mess, thought they would kill each other with the way they act towards each other 🤣🤣🤣both are very stubborn, they won't give an inch, but you know what? They make me laugh, they got it bad for one another, love the witty comments, the sarcastic tones, and of course the raunchy parts🥵who wouldn't love a book like this? I know I do, great work ladies, you both went above and beyond!

Tate the football player and Amaya who's a ballerina fall for each other. They'll go through it and if they've got any chance of making it they're going to have to put the effort into it. Their story pulls you in from the start. A page turner that doesn't disappoint. It has an excellent storyline with likable characters. I couldn't put this down till I finished it. It's a great read. I'd recommend reading.

Incredible. As in- not believable. The college years were great. I believed it then. But at around 75%, the plot just started becoming too far-fetched. I read it and my forehead wrinkles at how absurd what I'm reading was. I didn't love this. 3.75 - 4 stars ****
