Vanessa James is from a small Midwest Western town but now live s in sunny California with her husband Mike, 3 kids and Benji the dog.

She’s always had a passion for writing, especially romance novels and simply love the fact that she gets to do this fulltime now.

Her guilty pleasure apart from all things romance is rugby, yes that’s right rugby. Maybe it’s because she’s married to an Englishman and lived in the UK for many years.

Or is it because she can spend 80 minutes watching 30 hunks running around tackling each other?

Shhhh, don’t tell Mike. LOL!!!

When she’s not watching rugby, writing or reading, she loves nothing more than to be outside with her family and Benji creating wonderful lasting memories together.

Oh and there’s also a passion for homemade cookies, who hasn’t right!

Satan's Outcasts by Vanessa James is a MC Boxset: Outlaw Riders Series : Books 1 to 5. This was a great 'one stop shop' in a series that I have been wanting to read. This has the 5 books to the Stan's Outcast MC Series and totals about 825 pages. Really enjoyed this great box set.
Books included:

Satan's Outcasts MC Boxset: Outlaw Riders Series - Sacramento Chapter

Satan's Outcasts MC Boxset: Outlaw Riders Series contains the the first five books of the SOMC Sacramento Chapter series - Rage, Donovan, Hammer, Tank and Fury. I read and reviewed each of these books as they were published, so I am not going to rewrite my reviews here as they can be read if you would like to. This series was a mix for me between really well done and okay. Overall though the stories are a good read with action, mystery, secrets, romance, lost love, new love, the MC and members and some twists added in.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This set includes the first five books in the SOMC Outlaw Riders series. Each story features a brother in the club and the woman who holds his heart. While being individual romances, there is underlying drama, danger, secrets and betrayal for the club as the series goes on. These men will do whatever it takes to protect their women. The women are strong enough to stand by their side thru it all. I enjoyed reading a few of the books on their own, but was happy to get them in a boxset.

I love the MC stories and I loved this Boxset . Each story has its own story with suspense. drama, danger, action and not to forget the Alpha men who go through fire for their wives.

Each storyline and the build-up are wonderfully described so that you are completely sucked into the story. Every story has fantastic characters and their characters. You will have hours of fun with this box set. I definitely recommend this series!!

I have never read a series like this one before.
Did I enjoy reading this lot of books? Yes, I did.
I am not normally interested in violence in books, but this series
seemed to work for me. A real eye-opener you could say.
The characters worked really well together in each book and
I had a great connection with them all as well.
I didn`t find any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the stories.
I can recommend this series to others that are over the age of 18+

These short stories are fantastic.
The Alphas are great at loving and protecting their own.
Their women have them forever and love them just as hard
Easy to read and brings the entire series to a HEA.

This is a great boxset that contains 5 stories that are perfect examples of what I read the MC genre for. We have stories with strong alpha men and the strong feisty women who bring them to their knees. We get drama, passion, dark & twisted love stories and plenty of action the stories

This is a well-written collection of MC Romance storylines, each having its own heroine and hero complete with steam, drama, secrets, betrayal, danger, and action that runs throughout the collection. The main characters are defined, have great chemistry, and love their significant others. I enjoyed this boxset and found it entertaining.

The characters are strong, determined and protective, whether male or female. The storylines have tension, romance and strong club family ties. Loved the different ways that the couples got together and the chemistry they have. Totally enjoyed this series.

This is a great series! Ms. James painted these sexy stories perfectly. Each story revolves around a different couple. The characters were complex and well-balanced. Their chemistry sizzled! A Great Box Set

After reading each and every book in this series all I can say is I love my bikers. The ones that Ms. James gave us are all alpha and live the biker life with a lot of drama and mayhem. They all have their stories packed full of love, steam, destruction and everything MC. I can’t wait for her next book to come out.

The characters in the series were interesting and fun. I felt the detail for them was good overall but the book flow was a little choppy.. Most mc books I read really fast but this just didn't hook me as much as I wanted it too. It was good but didn't wow me.

Loved this great collection of books 1-5 of the Satan's Outcast MC series. If you like alpha men that are sexy and in control with their feisty sassy women you will love this collection. There is some violence and suspense mixed with the steamy romance in this collection.

This series of books concentrated on the back stories of the character and not specifically into the MC club life. Sexual encounters are very brief and very vanilla. Lots of gore and guns.

Rage: The plot was good, but this story felt kind of disjointed to me. It did not flow like the author’s other work I have read. I like Rage and Harley’s characters. I liked the way Rage handled Donovan.

Donovan: Ruby makes some really bad life choices with the encouragement of her brother, who is her only family. Then she has to live with the consequences of both of their actions. Donavan is not making he best choices either, but that changes really fast when he sees the reality of her situation. Luckily he has some backup. I did not like the time bouncing—only because it didn’t say that’s what was happening. I love them when they are indicated to be happening. Big surprise in the ending.

Hammer: This is not one of my favorite books by the author. Satan’s Outcasts really aren’t part of the story. Most of it takes place in prisons, one a real prison and one a “home”. The plot was good, there just was so much slow time. Toward the end, it was great, when the plans play out.

Tank: This story did not go how I expected it to—at all. Undercover police officer trying to gather evidence on the Outcasts finds herself in Tank’s orbit. There is definitely not smooth sailing for anyone. I could not grasp why everyone just let Caesar do whatever he wanted without repercussions. I also wonder how long it will take for Ember’s secrets to come out. I felt awful reading Tank’s experiences.

Fury: A lot happens before we ever even see Fury and Jade meet. He makes the best of the situation he created with bad decisions, but that still leaves his girl and son without him. Jade does the same, which is part of how she ends up with King. I wish there was more story given, like more details on Elena after Fury and the truth reveal to King.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. I read each book in the boxset separately and they are packed with tense adrenaline moments, heart-wrenching ones and heart-warming, steamy and sweet ones so never a dull moment. Note that you'll read about the violence and abuse so if it's a trigger for you, be aware. But overall the stories are fast paced and there's never a dull moment so if you like MC stories, it's a good boxset to grab!
