This book is the Hebrew version of the book (available through amazon), on "Women Creating A World Beyond War and Violence," by highly acclaimed feminist author Dr. Ada Aharoni. It delineates the special contribution of women to peace in the Middle East and especially between Israel and Egypt, it publishes for the first time, an important correspondence between Israeli Jewish and Arab Women of "The Bridge for Peace" with Jehan Sadat, wife of President Anwar Sadat, since 1974, which helped to lead to the Peace Treaty between Egypt and Israel. It also includes important articles, letters, and poetry on the special contribution of women globally, to promote a world beyond War and Violence. Ada Aharoni is a bilingual Israeli writer who writes in Hebrew and English. She was awarded a M.Phil degree in English Literature at the University of London and a Ph.D. on Saul Bellow at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She lectures at the Technion in Haifa, and has been a guest lecturer at several American and European Universities. She has published a number of books and was elected President of the XIII World Congress of Poets in 1992, and President of the "International Writers and Friends of Literature" in 1994. Her novels and collections of poetry have been translated into several languages.
