Dive into the afterlife of a dark spirit through the true story, A Call From Purgatory.
After watching a movie about a serial killer, odd occurrences began taking place in my home. Flickering lights, moving objects, and haunting dreams were only a few hints that contributed to my suspicion that the paranormal activity could be from him, the late serial killer that I had been reading about. This story will take you through my journey as I wrestle with the ghost's tantalizing grip and my own skeptical mind. It is a perspective through my eyes as I ask is the ghost of a serial killer worthy of my help into the light?
Heard of this book on Reddit because I'm a true crime fan myself and read it out of curiosity. If you're a Christian reader BEWARE: This book mentions both Archangel Michael and Jesus Christ while at the same time being totally contrary to Christian teachings. Christians don't believe in reincarnation, psychic mediumship, soul twins, and all of this, which the book gets heavily into.
JEFFREY DAHMER WAS A CHRISTIAN HIMSELF. This book goes against HIS religion as well as mine, ironically! Though I mean no disrespect to the author, only the book, I wish she would learn about his faith first before writing a book that totally contradicts it.
Of course I hope that Jeffrey Dahmer is in Paradise, as he is a baptized Christian, and I pray he is with the Lord, but only JESUS CHRIST can save him if He wills. And nobody can “help him to the light” except for JESUS. The arrogance on the author's part to wonder if the ghost of a serial killer is worthy of her help....like first of all he's just as worthy as anyone else because we're all wicked before God because of our sins. And second - It's Jesus who saves, not any one of us. Again, no disrespect, but I wouldn't recommend to any Christian or person of faith. It's confusing and misleading.
Mr. Dahmer is a child of God and I personally believe he deserves more respect than this. And his victims deserve more respect as well. I believe the author had encounters with demons.
Rest in peace Jeffrey Dahmer, Steven Hicks, Steven Tuomi, James Doxtator, Richard Guerrero, Anthony Sears, Raymond Smith, Edward Smith, Ernest Miller, David Thomas, Curtis Straughter, Errol Lindsey, Tony Hughes, Konerak Sinthasomphone, Matt Turner, Jeremiah Weinberger, Oliver Lacy, and Joseph Bradehoft. ✝️
Not sure what to say about this book. It was well written for a first book. About a girl who communicates with the dead, particularly Jeffrey Dahmer, who she comes to love. Have to say, a little weird. She definitely has psychic capabilities. 2.5 rounded up to 3.
The blurb description on the back of the book is only a fraction of what is packed into this incredible story, it’s way more than just a ghost story. I never cry at movies or books but this one got me. Very authentic, unlike anything I’ve read before.
