Stagecoach Bride Series Book 5 (Arlene)
Arlene is a widow after her husband was killed a few weeks before. She had written her husband's family about his intimey death. Arlene was invited to stay . One little problem, she didn't mention her pregnancy. Now the story begins. I enjoyed the story, I did!!!!!!

Secrets and lies fester....
....and they only hurt the innocent.
Christian is trying desperately to protect himself and the family farm, but to also prevent future generations from suffering, it is a heavy burden he carries, which makes him appear surly and bad tempered. But his frustration at the situation and hatred for his father has been growing and festering for years, can Arlene help him fight his demon's?
Arlene is still grieving, reeling from the shock and at a loss where she goes from here. In Christian she sees a wounded soul but doesn't believe she is strong enough to break through his prickly shell.
They are both sweet characters, but for me Myrtle is the character that makes the book, she is loving but determined, welcoming but stern, she gives Arlene self confidence and Christian the push he needs to face his past. She also knows exactly what she wants and is very determined to talk Boris around!
A lovely, heartwarming read on Kindle Unlimited.

The author has penned a sweet and heartwarming story of a young woman who has suffered the loss of her husband as a result of a gunfight between two drunken cowboys. She is pregnant and close to giving birth and must vacate the stage station her husband operated. She writes her husband's family to inform them of his death and his stepmother invites her to come stay with her and her husband's brother on the family ranch. This is a story of distrust, suffering brought on by a lifelong lie that had been perpetuated by a bitter father, sorrow, a baby, a marriage of convenience, and romance. Be sure and read this outstanding story; I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Christian and Arlene
This is a sweet and loving story that not exactly like most others. There is excitement and adventure with lots of twists and turns too. Arlene is a young very pregnant widow with no home now and no family to count on. She is on her way to her deceased husbands Stepmother and brother’s home. She failed to tell them she was with child and they were shocked when she located them after getting off the stage. You will enjoy discovering how they find their happily ever after.

Sweet Arlene, widowed suddenly due to senseless gunplay, is very pregnant and about to lose her home. She has no family, so she contacts Adam’s stepmother, Myrtle, and his brother, Christian. Myrtle accepts her immediately. Christian…not so much. He’s harboring a deep, dark secret that keeps him from all women, barring Myrtle.

Excellent story!
This short but excellent story was filled with love and controversy between the two main characters. One young woman's journey to be with her deceased husband's family leads to misunderstanding between her and his brother. This faith filled story is one everyone will enjoy reading with a truly happy ending.

Arlene was delighted to have her Mother In Law to consider her residing in the family home until she decided to do after her dear husband passed. She was in great need of help because she had held back from telling Myrtle the truth about her situation. I enjoyed this book.

Wonderful book!
Stagecoach Bride Arlene is touching, sweet story of a young pregnant widow finding happiness again after losing her husband in an accidental shooting. HEA ending that I loved.

Great read as a stagecoach book usually is.

Arlene was fortunate in her step mother-in-law, she got a jewel. Christian is fortunate in that his brother had excellent taste in wives. I really enjoyed this story by Margaret Tanner.
