Ever since Novah and Geni were young, they shared everything. From attending the same elementary school to trying out for cheer in junior high, they felt obligated to share. Once the besties hit high school and were allowed to date was when they had to make a choice on friendship or love. Falling in love with the same boy was never in their plans yet it happened. When Keith Steele moved to town, the besties had to decide which one was going to be his lucky lady. Agreeing to having a polygamous relationship with girls, Keith was as happy as a adolescent boy could be. After the trio graduated and moved on with their lives in college, they had lost touch. Years later the trio meet yet again and restart their polygamous affair as adults. Will it work out this time around? Will feelings change? The rules of their engagement were much different now and the stakes more higher, who will be the one heartbroken? Will the best friends forever stand the storm or let love decide this time?
this was such a silly ass book. it was hella entertaining but when i finished my first thought was “what the fuck did i just read?”
i probably would’ve rated it higher if novah wasn’t so insufferable. if you opened the dictionary and looked up “pick me” you would see a picture of novah smiling with all 32 of her teeth showing.
she claimed geni was her best friend but slut shamed her every chance she got. constantly talked about how much sex geni had and who she had it with. she believed she was better/more respectable because the only people she had sex with was geni and keith…allegedly 🙃
and who the hell waits seven years just hoping and praying their high school boyfriend reappears?! that’s not love, that’s obsession. she need to be on that lady’s couch.
this book was set in 2016, it shouldn’t have been that hard to find that man especially if he’s supposed to be this big successful man. her FBI skills were non-existent. my niece would’ve found that man’s facebook page in 20 mins and she’s 11.
novah was the definition of a hypocrite. she accused geni of being selfish all while letting geni get her off for SEVEN years and not once reciprocating. then had the nerve to talk about how much geni slept around. the poor girl is in heat because your selfish ass is using her for orgasms. AND THEN had the gall to act surprised when geni said she was in love with her.
keith kept saying you waited seven years for me, you’re so loyal and she lapped that shit up like she didn’t fuck his brother in an airplane bathroom. she ain’t know that man’s name but let him shoot her club up within an hour of meeting him. granted she ain’t know he was keith’s brother at the time. but when she found out she ain’t say shit.
even when keith found out geni and his brother were messing around (that’s a whole ‘nother story) she just stood there like “wow that’s crazy” like she ain’t hunch that man too. i REALLY don’t like that lady.
the author did everything she could to make me hate geni and root for novah to be keith’s only one just for me to end up HATING novah. at least geni was real b*tch about her shit. i’ll give her that.
i can go on and on about how terrible of a person novah was but i’m done because this book really pissed me off.
oh and the author ended the book with a ridiculously unnecessary cliffhanger. to be continued my ass, girl i’m not going over there.

This is my first book reading by Authoress Isis. When I say this left me with my mouth hanging open. It was a good read. Be prepared for all the twists and turns.
I went into the book without reading the synopsis which in hindsight was a very bad idea. This book is written like a teen who had too much time on their hands. I couldn’t even make it past page 30. Definite DNF
