A slightly biased book in favour of immunisation and also with some misleading quotes, eg page 42 "In 1994 a mass immunisation campaign was mounted to immunise all children between 5 and 16 against measles and rubella. Mumps immunisation was not included as there was no medical evidence for a need". The real reason why Mumps was not included was because there was a fault with the Mumps batch so it was decided not to use it, but there were vast quantities of Measles and Rubella vaccine to be used up so a campaign was launched to vaccinate all children for MR (Measles and Rubella) - a combination that had never before been put together without the Mumps part. But this is covered up in the book as are sadly many other things.
