Meet a dragon in trouble with other magical creatures because he enjoys hanging out with human children.

Join a mother and daughter and their teams of dragons on a dangerous cross-country race.

Reconnect with an imaginary friend - who is not so imaginary and escape the isolation of the pandemic.

And more...

So enter in BUT tread carefully--remember you are crunchy and taste good with chocolate.

A native Texan, Carol found her way to her current home in Colorado by way of a five-year detour in The Nederlands - courtesy of her husband Tim and the US Air Force.

An avid reader at a young age, her strong desire to write came from her love of (her husband calls it obsession with) Star Trek. It was this early love of Star Trek that led her to the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres.

Carol's family includes her husband Tim; their son John; and her four-footed canine friend Kans, all of whom somehow manage to tolerate her imaginary friends and worlds.

In addition to her own writing she is an acquisitions editor for Flying Pen Press - also located in Colorado. She also edits and publishes two on-line magazines - The Lorelei Signal and Sorcerous Signals.

I don't usually like anthologies, but I really did like most of the stories that came in this one.
Some of my personal favorite stories show up on pages 11, 36, 135, and 150. My absolute favorite, though, was one all the way on page 212. It was just so cute! I have reread it multiple times now, and I will gladly reread it again.
There are a few stories in the book I didn't like, but all of the others make up for it. I'm glad I got this one! I very much recommend it if you like dragons and are in the mood for shorter fantasy reads!
