Kimmie comes face-to-face with Huge Hoof, who has heard the stories and is so enraged by the counselor's rendition, she kidnaps her. With Bella and another camper's help, Kimmie has to figure out how to save her counselor. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards. About the author

Mike Allegra is the author of 17 books for children including the picture books Pirate and Penguin (Page Street, 2023), Sleepy Happy Capy Cuddles (Page Street, 2022), Scampers Thinks like a Scientist (Dawn, 2019), Everybody’s Favorite Book (Macmillan, 2018), and Sarah Gives Thanks (Albert Whitman and Company, 2012).
