When I started my new job at GCA Technology Services in June 2009, I was responsible for defining our social media strategy. I had used Facebook and LinkedIn before, but wasn't sure how to go about and use in the the B2B world. This book makes exploring social media for business fun. It dives into the various forms of Web 2.0 (Webinars, Pod casts, blogging strategies, Twitter, social networks) and shows how they can all "mingle."

Great resource book for anyone who wants to better understand Marketing and Web 2.0 for B2B.

The author does a good job of introducing you into what Social Media is, why you need to pay attention to it and how you can use it to help your business.

The Cocktail Party analogy is great for understanding how to successfully participate in social media.

Yes, there's more to marketing than just messaging and more to business than just competing. Is it possible that there's even more to life than just working? Why not join the party?
