Pretty straightforward and common sense, but good for delineating process of developing multimedia instructional design materials. Tables are especially helpful. One consideration is the publication date of the edition I read: 2000. Several assumptions/statements concerning multimedia and web-based delivery are generally not concerns, at least for most those in areas with decent bandwidth and current operating systems. Of course, this does not address mobile apps/ tablet design due to date of publication. Still, concepts are still generally practical and helpful.
