I love this series more and more with each release!

Taken Under the Moon takes an interesting turn with the main characters and it had me glued to my screen until the very end.

We finally get Chase Maheegan's story! I have loved Chase's character since the beginning. He's a vineyard owner in California and is one of the most passionate alpha's I've ever read.

This book had that extra oomph thanks to the heroine and that this story is also an enemies to lovers one as well. Kara is a Royal Arctic who just ended up pissing off all the other members of the Royal pack by her actions in a previous story. Now, the pack is punishing her and it's up to her to work out how to get herself out of the situation she's in.

Kara is one of the older members of the pack at over two hundred years old and is a bit of an elitist. She also owns her own vineyard and frequently competes against Chase's. When Chase is tasked with protecting Kara, Kara and Chase get on as well as water and oil go together.

But over time, they start to form a bit of a bond and start really getting to know one another. The character development in Kara is fantastic to read. She comes so far throughout this book.

I absolutely loved reading this book and can't wait to see what happens next!

I've read all the other books in this series and enjoyed them, so I was really looking forward to this book releasing! I have to be honest and say that I didn't read the synopsis before I started my ARC, so I was very surprised by who the main female character was because of what happened in the last book! After reading, I can say that I really enjoyed this book! It only took me a few sittings to read because I wanted to continue reading and find out what was going to happen next! There was some action and suspense in the plot, which added a lot to it and made me desperate to read on and find out how everything was going to progress! There was also a lot of romance between the two main characters, which allowed for quite a few seriously hot scenes! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Kara was the main female character, and I loved her a lot in this book! I felt like I got to know the real her and find out what made her the way she was! Kara was completely different to the person she was in the last book and I could see that she was sorry for what she had done! Kara also worked hard and she wanted to be happy! Chase was the main male character and love interest of Kara! I loved Chase in this book! He was funny and he liked to keep Kara on her toes! Chase was also very protective of Kara and he wanted her to be safe! Like Kara, Chase worked hard and he had a thriving business! He also had a lot of support around him and a family that loved and were there for him! I loved that this book was written from both Kara and Chase's point of views! I was expecting it to be because the other books were written from both characters point of views! I'm really happy that this one was as well because it helped me connect and understand Kara and Chase more and see their feelings for each other develop! It also allowed for a few more things to happen in the plot, which helped as both characters did go through some situations by themselves and they didn't spend every second of the plot together! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! I'm not sure who the main characters are going to be because there weren't any hints at the end of this book, but I'm still really looking forward to reading it once it releases and I can't wait to find out who the main characters are going to be! The cover for this book is also absolutely perfect for it and I love how well it suits the other covers in the series! It would draw me to the book and the cover model is also the perfect Chase! Big thank you to L.P. Dover for an ARC of Taken Under the Moon!

4.5 Stars * A Diffrent Second Chance Story *

Taken Under the Moon is the 7th book in the A Royal Shifters series. While you'll get high lights of Kara's back story in this book, the beginning of Taken Under the Moon starts off where book 6, Claimed by the Moon ends. Chase is introduced in the first book and we get a little more him in book 4.

L.P. Dover always writes amazing characters, especially strong female characters. Kara was no different but yet, different to the type of heroine I'm use to reading in this series. It took me some time to warm up to her, due to her actions in book 6. I knew Kara was going to have to work for it to get me to like her as a heroine. I do like the strength and determination she shows and I seeing her character change. Once hearing Kara's story, I could understand her character a little more, but still still needed to win me over because I really liked Chase when we got to know him a little more in book 4, and I've been wanting his story since then. Chase is the alpha of the Timberwolf pack and great alpha and man. He's strong, charismatic, patient, and listen with his heart and head.

I liked that Kara and Chase were already acquainted through their business as well has being wolves, so it wasn't so much as a love at first sight, or mating, story. It seems more of enemies to lovers story. I have liked more of a climax towards the ending of the story. I feel like the main event was side-lined for what was going around it, the less important things. But it wasn't enough for me to not like the story.

Again, each book finishes the couples story, I do suggest to read this series in order from the beginning, as a lot of characters make cameos in the books. And as I mentioned above, Taken Under the Moon starts off where Claimed By the Moon finishes.

This is the 7th book of the Royal shifters series. I like to read things in order but you could pick this up and enjoy the story. It is difficult to root for the bad guy in most stories. Author's that can write redemption for them are even more rare. Kara is the Cruella DeVille of the shifter world. She has done some unspeakable things and almost succeeded in doing even more. She comes from an outcast family who tried to usurp the King. 200 years later, she still has not found her footing in the shifter world.

Kara is bound by fae magic and sentenced to isolation with Chase, the alpha of his pack. These two have a history i their business circles. It takes Kara most of the story ot break down her walls and let her true self shine through. She has spent so many years hiding who she was that she struggles with letting anyone in to her heart. Chase is very patient and he does see her for who she is. He just needs to convince her that she is worthy.

It was great to see some of the Royal clan again. Loved the little tidbit about the possibly missing Royals and where they may be. Can't wait to see if they are successfully found. really love Evangeline the witch. She will be a great addition to the pack.

I can't wait to read more of this series. Start from the beginning and you will not be disappointed!

I was really looking forward to this book because I love this entire series but once I seen Kara’s name as the header for chapter one…. My excitement faded a bit because I disliked her immensely in Claimed Under The Moon. I felt like she didn’t deserve a happily ever after & I wish Amelie had ended her. I was even more uneasy when I guessed who her true mate was going to be. I felt like he deserved way better. BUT!!! I should have known L.P. wouldn’t steer us wrong. After their past was revealed & we got to know Kara better I understood why the great Luna matched them together.

It was a really great addition this amazing series! Even though I still don’t like Kara, I know longer hate her. I love her mate, he’s been a favourite of mine in past books so I’m happy he finally found his true mate. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Seriously I’m addicted & I can’t wait to get Micah’s story, & hopefully he’ll find the other Royals because I don’t want this series to end! I love all the magic, shifters, true mates & wild adventures all the couples go through to get their happily ever after.

Taken under the moon had me so much in my feelings I didn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel until the very end. Kara had me enraged with how she attacked Amelie but from the moment chapter one started my heart ached for her. I literally had tears falling throughout the book, the emotion was quite literally leaping out of the pages. This was a redemption story that left no wiggle room for the growth that Kara needed to do. I was all over the place with emotions and just wanting her to be forgiven! Chase gave me hope and I loved how conflicted he was throughout. Taken Under the Moon brought a new dynamic to the Royal Shifter Series and while it was emotional from start to finish, it was the perfect change of pace needed in this series. Kara and Chase proved that if you have at least one person in your corner than you can do virtually anything. Everyone is redeemable with the right motivation and I’ll never get used to LP Dover ripping my heart out and making me hurt for the “villain”, only to have me seeing everything with clear eyes and loving who they become at the end. This was truly a beautiful read and my new favorite book!

I know Kara made some mistakes in the past, and I wasn't her biggest fan, but I have to say that I really felt for her this round because of what was done to her. I felt like some of her hurt that caused to make bad decisions really needed to be addressed by those who had done it. In this book, she's left without what makes her powerful, and the way things are going with Chase as her jailer, well, I was a bit pissed off about everyone around her because of cowardly folks who would bully someone when she couldn't take them on. See, that's how amazing L.P. Dover's writing truly is since I felt like I wanted to take on Kara's troubles for her when she was down. And while Chase seriously upset me for a cool minute, I thawed enough to where I fell hard for him. I know I know, I'm being super cryptic, but I don't want to give anything away since it was amazing to go in blind & I don't want you to miss out on that experience. This is the only shifter series that I LOVE LOVE LOVE, and will continue to read, so I believe you'll feel the same after you hit those one click buttons to experience all the goodness for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I don’t even know what more to say about this series that I haven’t already. I love the magical feel of this series and with each book I fall in love with this world more. At the end of Claimed by the Moon I thought I really disliked Kara but really I misunderstood her. After reading this I realized we really didn’t know Kara at all. She has been through so much in her life and held resentment for so long I truly believe she needed this punishment to find herself.

Chase and Kara have been flirting and circling around each other for years. The Great Luna works in mysterious ways and brought these two together for a reason. I loved watching them grow as a couple and find their true loves. Their chemistry was combustible and their story was so beautiful.
This series is one of my most favorite one. Not many people can pull off a paranormal story let alone a series and Leslie has done just that. Each book is more captivating as the last and pulls you in to a magical world that entrances you.

I look forward to more in the series as I hope there is more to come.

Another heated and chemistry fuelled Royal Shifters installment in the series. This book takes place away from the main pack with Chase taking the newly power-less Kara back to his vineyard to protect her while she recovers from the magic used to put her to sleep. The events pick up straight after the end of Claimed By The Moon. Kara is feared irredeemable having been ostracized by the Pack. Only Chase seems to have any faith.

I loved the slow burn of this story. Both Chase and Kara are given time to get to know one another and let their attraction grow and develop before the Great Luna intervenes with the mating signs. These two feel destined to be together long before they are identifed as mates.

This is a true journey for Kara and I grew to like and empathize with her. I loved she was given the chance to redeem herself and become an equal leader alongside Chase.

A great fated mates shifter story with passion and chemistry a plenty.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has secrets, pain, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Turn of the Moon (Royal Shifters, #1)
Resisting the Moon (Royal Shifters #2)
Rise of the Moon (Royal Shifters, #3)
Unleashed by the Moon (A Royal Shifters novel Book 4)
Bound by the Moon (A Royal Shifters novel Book 5)
Claimed by the Moon (A Royal Shifters novel Book 6)

This is Kara and Chase’s story. Kara is weak and agrees to leave with Chase. She needs her powers back, but can he help her get them back? Or will she end up losing them forever? With danger all around can she protect herself with no powers?

I highly recommend this book.

This is the seventh book in this intriguing series and is Chase and Kara’s story. Kara has had a tough time and is from an outcast family, and she has done some unspeakable things, but she has built walls around her heart. Kara and Chase have been rivals for years, and when she loses her powers, Chase is there to protect her. These two have danced around each other for years, and Chase manages to break through the barriers to find the girl underneath. This is a well written story which is filled with danger, suspense, passion, redemption, emotions, and love. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is the seventh book in the Royal Shifters series. It *could* be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading in order. The previous book sets this one up. It goes into depth with all the things Kara did to end up with her powers gone, along with her wolf, and that shiny new bracelet.
I've always liked Chase, since the first time I've read about him.
I hated Kara, but after getting to know her in this book, I like her now. She changed so much in this book. Well, I don't know if it was change, as much as she just dropped her walls and let her true self show.

4 1/2 stars for me. Kara had not been the nicest person, but we got a chance to see what made her who she was. Chase was very gallant, protective, and caring of his pack as well as Kara. Once things began to unravel, my heart hurt for both of them. I was glad that Kara had a couple people who truly cared for her although she tended to shut out their best intentions. The story pulled me along so that I wanted to keep reading. I recommend this story highly.

I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

After my second in the series, I am captivated by this Royal Shifter series.

I don't often read shifter romances, except for a few authors, however, Dover is now added to the list.

Kara may not have been one of the most likeable heroines, but, see if she doesn't "shift" your thinking!

Chase, oh my gosh... To Die For!!!!

I cannot wait until I can catch the beginning of this series!

Who is Kara? Where is she? What time of the year is it? Who is Amelie? What has Amelie done? What is going on with Kami and Colin? What does Laila do to Kara? How is Chase involved? What happens when Kara reaches out to Evangeline and then Xavier? Who is Nolan and what does he do? What happens when Chase shows up? Can Kara figure out what she needs to do to be free? You really need to read this book to see what happens! I loved the story!

Chase owns a vineyard and is passionate about anything he does. When he gets a call to help out he jumps into action. Kara has a horrible attitude and has been burned way to many times. She was taken back to Chases vineyard to be watched. Kara owns her own vineyard that is very successful. Can they learn to co exist or will she always have hate in her heart.

I am so loving this series! I was really intrigued and excited to read Kara's story and then seeing it would be with Chase i was even more excited.

In the previous book we wasn't really given a flattering picture of Kara but in this one we got to see the real her, the raw her with her wold shield stripped and i couldn't help but love her. Everyone has let her down in all the years she has lived, no-one has ever really been there for her, supported her, chosen her, not even her brother who she has backed and supported all those years. Chase was the perfect person for her. Kind, caring, patient, he was everything she needed but struggled to admit to.

well done LP on this great story of redemption, passion, love, loyalty an friendships. I cannot wait to see what you are going to bring us next and hopefully we will see more of Micah as i have missed him.

I was so intrigued when Kara got her own story. She wasn’t painted in the most flattering light in the previous story but we get to know her a lot better in her own book. She’s never had anybody support or back her in all of her life even though she supported her brother, he didn’t have her back when she needed him most. Chase is a perfect person for her. He is so caring, patient and he is choosing her. Can she let her guard down and let Chase in?

Taken under the Moon by L.P. Dover is book seven in the Royal Shifters Series. A series of interconnected stand-alones.
This is Kara's story.
Kara was introduced in book six, Claimed under the Monn and lets just say, she wasn't my fav. Ms. DeVille is childsplay against Kara. But every pot meets his kettle sometime.
TUtM is a good read, solid 3,5 stars.

In this series I have to say this is my personal favorite. Kara and Chase were explosive and hot together. Kara having been punished for her previous action is sent to stay with Chase. I really liked seeing Kara in a new light and see how she can open her heart after being closed off for a long time. Trust me this is a great and fun read
