I like how badass Ella was. Definitely a good read. There were some parts that felt out of place with the story and other parts that should’ve been more in detail, but overall, still a decent read.
I enjoyed this wolf shifter story, the plot was good and the characters were all likeable. I enjoyed the fact that the female main character wasn't a push over and didn't need rescuing. My only negatives are that sometimes I struggled to remember who all the characters were except the handful of main characters, there seemed to be a lot of names being used in some scenes and I honestly couldn't remember who they were meant to be, I had to pause and try to figure it out, also, I didn't like the way the male narrator said 'beta' (maybe because I'm English).
I listened to this book on Wehear, It didn't take long to unlock the complete story, a few days.
The Alpha's Regret is a breath of fresh air for this particular werewolf trope. Ella's fated mate, Lucas rejects her on sight. And even though he regrets rejecting her, he lets her go when she moves away and starts a new life and new career. But when fate brings them back together four years later, Lucas will do whatever it takes to get Ella to give him a second chance. I love how patient and respectful Lucas is. Even when it looks like Ella is going to reject him the way he rejected her, he still respects her decision. This is definitely one of the better redemption arcs in the werewolf literary world.
I loved this book about Alpha Lucas and Ella. This has been the first in a series of four so far. And love everyone of them. Molly Cambria Is a great storyteller , love her books . Found her on the Dreame reading app, binge read them all! Highly recommended 👌!
