This is the story of three people. Shelby, Brett and Elijah. In this story Shelby has some HUGE secrets and when Brett moves to town they all start to dissolve and she will have to face her mistakes and lies as they relate to her adorable 6 year old, Elijah.
One one hand what Shelby did was pretty awful but I also saw her side and honestly I would feel the same way. I thought she explained herself really well to Brett when her mistakes and lies are exposed and I loved that while Brett was angry he also still heard her.
This is a shorter book. somewhere between Novella and Novel side. Its a new author I have never read before and I really enjoyed her writing, the characters and the story. Shelby makes some decisions when she is super young and I cannot imagine the decisions she faced at such a young age.
This was a wonderful second chance at love with a big twist and I loved every second of it.

Shelby & Brett decided they would break up before he went off to college, but she also decided to have her first (and maybe only) time to be with him the night before. I really thought he could have called her the next day but he had decided that night would be goodbye but still, something that big should have warranted a call the next day. Fast forward some years, Shelby has kept a secret from Brett, but honestly, while it wasn't the best thing to do, she did it out of love for him. I don't necessarily agree with her decision, but he sure didn't look back either as he did his share of sleeping with other girls while I'm sure she never had any sexy times again, and I know that maybe this isn't the best view but this is where I am. I found myself firmly on her side throughout, and could understand why she chose what she did, but will Brett ever forgive her?! You know what to do to find out because at the end of the day, this story was impossible to put down despite all the weird things I felt LOL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The star-crossed lovers
With Love From Taluspare by Thia Finn was a delicious, fun read! It is about coming of age, leaving for separate colleges and breaking up so each were free to follow their dreams; one to Florida and one to another college. Then comes the real life experiences with a surprise pregnancy kept secret because the boyfriend never once contacted her. Bad decisions, regrets, broken hearts all are part of their story. The story of Brett and Shelby and Elijah is just beginning with Brett returning to town to take a coaching job. This is wonderful story that brought tears to my eyes as well as wanting to give advice to the characters. I also wanted as hit them in the back of their heads or shake them into making better sections! Thia Finn only writes compelling romances that are worth reading over and over.

Such a joy to read this sweet small town romance. Just the right amount of steam and a very relatable story. I’m a sucker for a great happily ever after and this delivered!
