Interesting collection of stories about life in the North York Moors Country Park

A comfortable collection of anecdotes about the park, it's people and their lives as well as encounters with visitors and their encounters with inhabitants of all varieties. History and contemporary life combined and recounted by someone with the unique perspective of a local constable who knows it all intimately. Told with a light, compassionate and insightful touch.
