Just finished the last mdzs book so wanted to revisit this artbook, which is probably also my most flipped through artbook, together with my other mdzs artbook that I sadly could not find on goodreads. I just love looking at the pretty pictures. the concept art is freaking gorgeous. Compared to the mdzs artbook, which is hardcover and makes full spread illustrations hard to see, it's also much easier to flip through because it's a paperback and you can literally lay the spreads flat.
maybe one day ill have the patience to google translate my way through this one because I do not know chinese. still 5☆ though.

- The Untamed rimane THE UNTAMED anche a distanza di mesi e anni;
- Stavo per mettermi a piangere pure su questo libro solo guardando qualche foto;
- Le info e le spiegazioni aggiuntive che dà, la cura di ogni dettaglio, la costruzione della storia sono state superinteressanti da leggere [NdR: grazie, Google Lens, che mi hai permesso di leggerlo!];
- Il cofanetto (che, all'interno, contiene l'artbook vero e proprio + un opuscolo con interviste aggiuntive), visto come "oggetto" in sé e per sé, è veramente ben fatto e curato.
HO DI NUOVO AMATO TUTTO! ♥

- The Untamed is always THE UNTAMED even after months and years;
- I was nearly crying even now by just looking at some photos;
- The infos and additional explanations it gives, the attention to every detail, the construction of the story were all super-interesting to read [Ed.: thanks, Google Lens, for allowing me to read it!];
- The boxset (which, inside, contains the actual artbook + a booklet with extras&interviews), even seen as a mere "object", is really well done and detailed.

This book was extremely enjoyable and I learnt a lot about ancient Chinese courtesy from this book. It talks about two soulmates on quests and how every bad events end. They faced many twists and turns at first, as if the world was against the main protagonist. But, his soulmate in the end stood up and supported him all way through which was really touching to me!
